Up in the sky! Look! It&#39;s a Pomeranian! It&#39;s a Chihuahua! It&#39;s Joey! Joey is a year old, eight pound, long-haired Chi-pom mix, and his energetic personality matches this medley of furballs.&nbsp;

Joey was found as a stray in a cage with 6 or 7 other similar-looking dogs. He is not used to living indoors with humans, but he is slowly becoming confident. He has learned a lot in the meantime: to settle in his crate, to take walks on a leash, and to play with his toys independently.&nbsp;

Joey loves chasing dragonflies and army-crawling in tall grass. He loves sprinting in the yard and chewing on collagen sticks and yak cheese. He especially loves his snuffle mat!
There are a few quirks about Joey that will take patience from his future humans. Although he has learned to toilet outdoors, he hasn&rsquo;t quite gotten over some handling issues. Fear and excitement cause him to have little accidents. Thankfully, he is very small and has gotten used to wearing a belly band. Joey also needs to be closely watched as he enjoys jumping from high places and will need to be discouraged from parkouring. But hey, that means he might be great for an agility course!

Joey is young and acts like a puppy, so obedience training is a must. He should not be in a home with children younger than 10. He enjoys sprinting outside and would be best in a home with a big, physically-fenced yard.

Mama Cat is very friendly and comes looking for her caretaker&nbsp;when she&#39;s&nbsp;there and&nbsp;puts food out for all of them. MC enjoys being petted while she&rsquo;s eating and allows herself to be picked &nbsp;up to be dewormed,&nbsp;get flea medicine, and to go in a crate, and she&rsquo;s never scratched or really protested much at all.&nbsp;

Mama Cat is a bit of a talker and her facial marking are very unique.&nbsp;

She has had 2 litters that we know of, all but two (the little ones born in October) of whom CARE has helped get neutered. &nbsp;We don&rsquo;t know exactly how old she is but we&nbsp;don&rsquo;t think she&rsquo;s more than 3-4 years old.&nbsp;

Everyone at the vet clinic where she was spayed how sweet she was and were surprised she was a barn cat. &nbsp; They think she lived inside with people at some point?

Sweet Mama deserves a home of her own.  She is not a CARE cat and CARE is not responsible for any issues with her adoption.

Meet Nessa! We think she could be a mix of Lab or Great Dane and some sort of wiry-haired terrier, but whatever she is, her paws tell us she&#39;s going to be a great big beautiful girl. Good thing she&#39;s such a sweetheart who loves to learn.&nbsp;Nessa requests your treats and chin scratches&nbsp;and she can provide giant cuddles as payment!

In her foster home, she&#39;s doing great with learning house training, already knows how to sit, and takes treats gently. She&#39;s learning to walk politely on a leash and sleeps well in her crate at night. She loves to chase the ball, but she hasn&#39;t yet gotten the hang of bringing it back. During the day, she&#39;s still learning that her crate can be her safe place because she loves to be with people. Having another dog in the home could help her feel more confident when her people leave the house.

Nessa was found as a stray with intestinal parasites and is being treated and is expected to make a full recovery. She will be current on all vaccines and microchipped before adoption.

Celeste is a total love, she adores her humans and aims to please.&nbsp; She loves to wrestle with her canine pals, and would adore another dog in the home to play with.&nbsp; Her favorite activity&nbsp;is to go on walks and hikes, so she definitely requires an active home that will supply regular exercise.&nbsp; Her second favorite activity is fetch, so sessions of retrieving between exploration sessions is a winning combo for her in life.&nbsp; But don&#39;t worry, one this girl has an outing- she&#39;s all about the cuddle sessions too- fair warning- she&#39;s a total couch and bed hog...&nbsp; She would love another dog in her forever home- she is a wonderful buddy to dogs- both big and small.

Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours.&nbsp; She does require a fenced in yard (physical fencing, no invisible fences please).&nbsp; All humans in the home should be 6 years of age, or older.&nbsp; She has been spayed and microchipped, and is current on preventatives and vaccines.

Wren is a very handsome boy who came into foster care very young. Wren was found in the community at just 6 weeks old with an injured paw. The vet said it is permanent nerve damage and, while he can&#39;t use his paw, he is very capable of getting around, playing and jumping with no problems. Wren can be shy but when you do get him at the right time, he will start purring even before you start petting him (usually at night). Wren seems to enjoy some of the other foster cats in his foster home but may do well in a home as an only cat as long as he is not alone for long periods of time. He does live in a home with dogs and seems to enjoy his canine companions. Ideally, Wren would find a home with a canine or feline companion&nbsp;that he can get along with.
