How We Use Your Information

We use your info only to:

  • ✨ Match you with adoptable pets using our AI models.
  • ✨ Improve Floof Matcher’s features and make it more helpful over time.

AI & Third-Party Services

When you enter a description or upload an image, we securely send it to our hosting and AI provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), to process the request and create an “embedding” that helps match you with pets.

These prompts are only used to power Floof Matcher’s pet search features. We don’t use them for advertising, and AWS does not share them with unrelated parties.

We also use trusted third-party tools (like Google Analytics and email services) to keep the site running smoothly and to understand how people use Floof Matcher. Analytics may collect info such as your browser type, device, pages you visit, and general location. This helps us improve the experience over time (and figure out which features people love most 🐾).

These providers only get the minimum data they need to do their job, and you can opt out of Google Analytics tracking anytime by using Google’s opt-out tool.

Newsletter & Communication

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we’ll use your email to send you:
