Looking for a Forever Lap

At just 3 pounds, Cozy may be tiny in size, but she has a whole lot of love to give. This sweet and affectionate Yorkie girl spent the first nine years of her life with one very special person&mdash;her Daddy. He was her world, and she was his.

Recently, Cozy&rsquo;s world was turned upside down when her beloved owner had to move into assisted living. Through no fault of her own, this little girl suddenly found herself looking for a new family and a new place to call home.

Cozy is a gentle, loving girl who enjoys going for walks, playing with her toys, and most of all, being close to her person. She will happily bring you her favorite toy when she's ready to play, or simply settle down beside you and enjoy your company. But her favorite place of all is a warm lap where she can curl up and feel safe and secure.

Cozy is housebroken, enjoys her walks, and has plenty of personality tucked inside her tiny 3-pound body. She is looking for a quiet, loving home where she can feel comfortable, cherished, and included in everyday life.

Because of her small size and sensitive nature, Cozy is not comfortable around young children who are overly curious or don't understand personal space. They can be frightening to her, so she would do best with adults or older, respectful children who understand that little dogs need gentle handling and the ability to have their own space.

After nine years with the same person, Cozy isn't looking for anything complicated. She just wants someone to love and a forever lap to call her own. Give this slightly mature little girl a safe place to land, and she will reward you with tiny doggie kisses, warm snuggles, and the kind of companionship that only a devoted little dog can give.

Delilah Deserves More Than This
Delilah is another one of those puppies whose life started with a parking lot giveaway. She was advertised as an &ldquo;Anatolian Shepherd mix,&rdquo; but we can confidently say there isn&rsquo;t much Anatolian in this beautiful girl. At 10 months old and 50 pounds, Delilah appears to be more of a Lab/Heeler mix with a heart full of love and potential.
What breaks our hearts isn&rsquo;t where she came from&mdash;it&rsquo;s how she&rsquo;s been living.
For most of her young life, Delilah has spent nearly 20 hours a day confined to a large crate in an apartment. Not because she&rsquo;s a bad dog. Not because she&rsquo;s destructive. Simply because life circumstances left her with very little opportunity to be a puppy.
At an age when she should be running, exploring, playing, learning, and discovering the world, Delilah has mostly been watching life pass by from behind crate bars.
The lack of exercise has even caused some muscle loss. More than anything, she needs a chance to move, stretch, play, and simply be a dog.
Despite everything, Delilah remains incredibly sweet.
She can be a little shy when meeting new people, which isn&rsquo;t surprising considering how little social interaction she&rsquo;s had. But beneath that initial uncertainty is a kind, gentle, loving girl who desperately wants to connect. She is good with other dogs, enjoys people, and is already crate trained&mdash;just far more crate trained than any young dog should ever have to be.
What Delilah needs now is simple:
A yard to explore.
A couch to nap on.
A family to notice her.
A foster home willing to show her that life can be bigger than four crate walls. Whether you can offer a temporary foster home or a forever family, you could completely change the course of this young dog&rsquo;s life.
Delilah is beautiful. She is sweet. She is lonely. And she is waiting for someone to show her what it feels like to truly belong.
No puppy should spend the best months of their life simply existing when they could be thriving.

PUPPY DELILAH

Dottie is a Chocolate and White female puppy who is a spunky and loving girl who wants only to be near her foster mom everywhere she goes.&nbsp; Born to a beautiful, homeless Golden Retriever mix momma named Honey, Dottie was part of a litter of 8 puppies soon became a rumor of desertion and abandonment in a small town rural area of Tennessee.&nbsp; Their momma Honey was known to travel the roadside looking for food and sustenance and people talked of her puppies being located in a wooded area and roaming.&nbsp; A kind single mom with 2 children of her own and working two jobs, heard the rumor, and went looking for this desperate little family.&nbsp; She found momma Honey and her brood living under a flat bed trailer at the edge of a wooded area. We have the pictures and video.&nbsp; Rescue foster mom, Kayla, took them home and soon a search was started to find help from a rescue group that could secure homes and vetting assistance for this large family.&nbsp; &nbsp;Critter Cavalry stepped up even though this foster family were 3.5 hours&nbsp; away. Everyone made it work. Dottie is a pretty girl who will one day be a 55-60 pounds girl with the sweetest face that is accented and remembered for her deeply green eyes and chocolate polka dots and freckles.&nbsp; She is fun loving and wants to be in the middle of the party action when her siblings are having too much fun.&nbsp; She is an observant girl that is sensitive and loves to know what is going on all around her at all times. She is very bright and an active girl that is engaged and ready to have all the fun she can in life.&nbsp; A wonderful girl who will be your greatest cuddle companion as you grab a bowl of Popcorn and turn on your favorite TV shows to binge on for a weekend of getting lost from all the cares of the world, Dottie is there for you and will be your favorite Mini ME as she mirrors the mood and energy level of her new owner and family.&nbsp; &nbsp; She is destined to be a 50-55 pound girl but will always be a&nbsp; puppy who is eager to learn and easy going with her attitude toward life.&nbsp; She has the most beautiful green eyes and the softest skin that is so ready to be stroked and petted.&nbsp; She is growing and she will be a perfect family companion as she is displays her easy nature at all the right times in life.&nbsp; Not one aggressive bone in her body.&nbsp; Dottie has been around young children and great and also has been around a small cat as well and did well.&nbsp; She is a chameleon in life.&nbsp; She will adjust and fit right in wherever she is planted. Everyone loves a Beagle and Kenny B&nbsp; is no exception to being a Beagle that especially needs love and some much needed personal guidance.&nbsp; This 3 year old Beagle boy is 26 pounds and pretty much ALL Beagle.&nbsp; But he needs someone to color inside the lines and shape him into an exceptional fellow that we know he is capable of being.&nbsp; He was found as a stray with his brother Dean and at this stage of life he is a blank canvas that needs polishing and molding.&nbsp; Kenny B is healthy and thankfully heartworm negative.&nbsp; True to form this boy is full of energy and lots of hunting instincts that cannot be denied.&nbsp; His mind and body and tail are always busy wagging and exploring his outdoor environment.&nbsp; Fortunately despite being abandoned and found as a stray, this boy is friendly with humans, kids and other dogs are welcome new friends to discover for him.&nbsp; This&nbsp; boy Kenny B can accept AND give love generously and without hesitation.&nbsp; And of course he needs a fenced yard that he cannot escape.&nbsp; He will test you at first on that fencing thing but you as the human are smarter than him.&nbsp; Secure the yard well and then no problem.&nbsp; He is good on a leash and knows the sit commands only.
