Condor was an incidental find while trapping at our church colony. No one knew he existed - but fate stepped in one night I was driving through to check the colony and saw him about a block away. I immediately set up a trap and within 10 minutes he was trapped and onto a better life!Condor was a true feral. He was aggressive and had rules we needed to follow. Knowing that the colony could not be returned - I made the decision to keep him and work with him. Everyone told me he was too feral and to put him back and I mean everyone ! But, as with everything you gotta start somewhere! I started giving him churu thru the carrier holes in his cage (he was super scary!) he would growl, lunge, grumble and make it known we’d we were not welcome. Baby steps with churu thru the carrier holes, then with my finger thru the hole, then front carrier … it was a lot of small steps in the right direction!! Eventually I heard PURRING coming from the carrier - it would make imagine my elation!!!The rest is history, he's a feral2friendly graduate! Condor is a very chatty and attention seeking boy! He comes running when you call his name and enjoys being pet and brushed. He is not shy - he solicits for attention and will rub you your legs to say “hey I’m down here” when seeking love! He is well tolerated by other cats and does great this them. Everyone loves Condor - human and kitty alike! He would do better with other cats as he loves their companionship. A suggested friend for him would be one of his fellow adoption center friends- ask us about who would be a good match for him! Adopt this sweetie today!

Meet Agatha Agatha’s story is one of learning to trust—and discovering that being loved is actually pretty wonderful. She was once part of a colony where a kind resident made sure she and several other cats were cared for. When that person was no longer able to live on their own and had to move, the cats were suddenly left without their caretaker. Around the same time, Agatha and a couple of the other cats were found with cut-up and torn paw pads that needed medical attention, adding to our concern. With their caretaker gone and medical care needed, we made the decision to trap them and bring them into rescue so they could receive the care they needed—and never have to worry about being left behind again. For Agatha, adjusting to indoor life took time. She was very shy and wary of people at first, but there was always something about her that told us she wanted to trust. She just needed the time and patience to figure it out for herself. And then one day, she did. Agatha finally realized that pets are pretty amazing! Now she absolutely loves being petted and soaking up affection from the people she trusts. She still enjoys the security of her favorite spot on the top tier of her den—especially when she’s waiting for her wet food to arrive. Agatha is looking for a quiet, patient home with someone who understands that trust doesn’t always happen overnight. Starting her in her own room or smaller space where she can feel secure would be ideal, allowing her to explore and adjust at her own pace. The shy ones can sometimes be overlooked. They need a little more time, a little more patience, and a little more understanding—but watching them finally let their guard down and choose to trust you makes it that much more special. We know Agatha’s person is out there. And when she finds them, we have a feeling the bond they share will be one of the strongest of all.

Meet Bellini — Our Beautiful Little Snow Angel Bellini’s story began on a bitterly cold winter day, with nearly a foot of snow covering the ground. This tiny calico was spotted in the road outside our Adoption Center, desperately eating crumbs that had fallen from the rescue van. She was freezing, starving and simply trying to survive.Thankfully, someone noticed her and alerted us. We set a trap, and within minutes, Bellini was safely inside. Bellini didn’t arrive friendly—she was frightened and unsure of people. But over the past several months, she has slowly learned that hands can bring kindness, comfort and love. Now, our once-wary little lady has blossomed into quite the love bug!Bellini purrs, curls her tail with happiness and gets excited when she sees someone approaching. She loves being petted and will gently press her head into your hand to ask for even more affection. We are still discovering her personality as she continues to open up, but one thing is already certain: this sweet girl has so much love to give.Bellini has come such a long way—from eating crumbs in a snowy street to finally knowing warmth, safety and love. Now, she is ready for the final chapter of her journey: a family and home of her very own.We have no doubt that Bellini will become a wonderful, loving companion for the special person who chooses her. Could that person be you?
