Fiddle is a little over a year old as of July 26, 2026. He's been in rescue since January healing from his past life and is healthy and now ready for his FOREVER home. He is listed as special needs since he does require a food that is easily digestible; a prescription diet! That's ok, it costs less than $2.00 a day to feed this beautiful boy and with his special diet he will live a normal, happy, healthy life and maintain a perfect weight; all for less than it costs to buy food at the store! Fiddle is a sweet boy who is timid at first. He will do fine in any home that can give him time in segregation to overcome his fears and learn to trust. He is scared of new things and patience will be required to earn his love. Once he knows you won't hurt him, he's all about pets and loves belly rubs. He loves to play and has been around other cats and dogs and will do well with proper introduction. He's so handsome with his swirls! Adopt him today. Approved applications will be contacted within 48 hours

Anchovy is about two years old as of February 2026. His situation is a bit complicated, and he's spent most of his life in rescue. He was trapped as an older kitten with the intent of socializing for adoption. Unfortunately, his foster was unable to spend the time required to work with him, so he either needed to go back outside or be moved to a different foster. Cold weather was already here, so the decision was made to move him to a different foster. He's still quite fearful, but is very motivated by food. When he was confined to a cage, he learned to enjoy pets. Now that he has the run of the house, he's not easy to catch. At this point, he will likely never be a cuddly house cat. He loves other cats, and his behavior is much more relaxed when he's with his cat friends. At this point, we are looking for a safe option for him, because his foster mom is very ill and he cannot stay long term. If you are either an incredible person who wants to give this boy a home despite his fear, or if you have a very safe shop, barn, etc, please apply here! safehousepets.org

Calypso is about 2 years old as of April 2026. She has spent a large portion of that time in confinement. She was trapped as an older kitten with the intent to be socialized for adoption. Due to a series of unfortunate incidents, the window to return her back to her outside home closed, so we decided to continue efforts to socialize. Recently she has been given free reign of her foster home, and she's getting so brave! She's gone from spending her days in the basement to spending almost all her time in the vicinity of her foster family. Her buddy Spokane, also available, gives her so much confidence. If she's laying with him, she will relax for pets. Otherwise she stays just out of reach, but that's ok! She's used to TV, seeing people walk by outside, and sharing the couch with humans. While we would love to see her flourish in her own home, we are now looking for any safe outcome. If you have a SAFE shop, building, or barn, we think she would adapt. Her foster mom is very ill and she has nowhere else to go. Please consider her! Apply for this beautiful girl now at safehousepets.org
