Once she settles in, she’ll happily purr and even enjoy some cuddle time with her favorite people. Sushi is a bit more reserved than her brother Sashimi, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality really begins to shine! Sushi and her brother Sashimi are currently being housed at Thrive Pet Supply in Antioch IL

About Me

: In March 2024

Koji (formally Link) and 15 other cats were dropped off at Lakes Animal Clinic in Antioch on a rainy night. Koji (Co-Gee), which means good fortune/ happiness in Japanese! My previous owner sadly couldn’t bring me with her on her big move so I’m hoping I’ll find a loving home with you! I’m a little shy in the beginning but when I get comfortable I’m a loving and playful little man. You can entice me easily with food or play! My favorite toys are cat wands, or anything stick shaped. I really love my sushi toys that have a little bell inside or make a crinkle sound, and anything circular like a little ball/ sphere will keep me busy! You’ll always find me wanting to spend time near you or right next to you when we get close. I really enjoy head and butt scratches and I’ll even enjoy some light belly rubs on occasion. I'm shy with new introductions but I like to explore around the house and am very curious so I get used to new faces pretty quickly. I used to live as an only pet but would get along really well with my little dog friend that would visit on occasion. Another fun fact about me is that I’m really smart so you can teach me a lot of words and tricks easily. I already know the words “come here/come on”, “up”, “let’s go” and “get out”, I respond very well to them if you say it after my name! Other pet names I respond to are “little boy” or “baby” but I mostly listen to commands and requests with Koji. I’m a great cat who will love you and be by your side, please consider adopting a black cat like me, we tend to get overlooked. If you would like to meet me in person I am currently being housed at Thrive Pet Supply in Antioch IL

Koji

Name: Binx

Adoption Fee: $200 for just him or $250 for him and his sister Jiji. All of our cats come spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on age appropriate vaccines!

Birthday: 5/16/25

Sex: Neutered Male

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Traits: Good with other cats, unknown with kids or dogs, litter box trained, certified yapper &
lover boy

Current Diet: Canned wet food + Nulo Cat and Kitten Dry Food

About Me: Binx was brought to the rescue with his sibling Jiji by another rescue that was
working on rehoming 36 other kittens from a feral colony. Binx is a silly boy who loves to play
and run around but is always ready to snuggle and cuddle with his people. He is very outgoing
with people and is happy to be the first to say hello when we walk into his foster room. He loves
to be held and will happily jump into your arms and chill there for as long as he is allowed. He is very curious and loves to explore but can get a bit overwhelmed with new spaces. He does
adjust quickly and has become quite the escape artist to get full run of the house. He is a
snuggler and loves to be close during nap time but will go crazy when the zoomies hit. He would also do well with a big tree or something tall where he can look out a window. He would do best
going home with his sister Jiji but with a very slow introduction to new cats he could do okay. He
has struggled to adjust to his foster siblings despite his desire to have a full run of the house.
We think he would do well with kids but unsure on how he would do with dogs.

About Me
: Nala was found all alone in the woods crying out for help. She was exhausted and literally surrendered in the rescuer's arms. Nala is a sweet, curious girl with a little independent streak and plenty of love to give! She enjoys being pet, happily accepts treats, and loves spending time with her people. She has a wonderful balance of independence and affection, making her a lovely companion to have around. Nala also has a special bond with her brother, Leo, and we would absolutely love to see these two find a forever home together. Having each other as they settle into a new home would be such a wonderful gift for them both. Nala is looking for a loving family who will appreciate her sweet personality, respect her independent side, and give her all the love and treats she deserves. If you're looking for a pair of feline companions to fill your home with love, Nala and Leo might just be the perfect match!

About Me

: This gorgeous cat with long fur and big, expressive green eyes will quickly steal your heart. Baby is looking for a very special, understanding home. She is quite shy at first and will need time and patience to feel safe in a new environment. Once she trusts you, her sweet side shines, she has a favorite female volunteer and begins purring almost immediately when gently pet, showing just how loving she can be with someone she feels comfortable with. She does seem to prefer women over men, so we believe she would do best bonding with a female adopter. Because of her sensitive nature, she needs a calm, quiet home without children. She is okay with other cats, but her experience with dogs is unknown. She previously lived with an older owner who could no longer care for her, and unfortunately her family felt she was too shy for their household. We know that with the right person, someone patient, gentle, and willing to let her set the pace—she will make a deeply rewarding companion. If you’re looking for a soft, quiet soul who just needs time and kindness to blossom, she may be the perfect match for you!
