A FUN, PLAYFUL & ACTIVE GUY: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 40 lbs.

Hi, my name is Asher! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, & I'm very grateful. The volunteers are taken with my unusual breed mix, my handsome ginger brindle coat, & compact body. I bet you will be, too! I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience & learned a lot! Now I'm in a wonderful foster home, waiting for my people to adopt me!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I enjoy playing with & going for walks with other dogs I've met at Mostly Mutts, but I should not live with them as I have guarded toys & dog beds from them. I can be barky/reactive when I see other dogs—not to worry—my trainer will show you exactly how to introduce me to other dogs, so let's meet! / No cats! / I get a little excited to see children, so kids age 15+ would be the best fit for me, as I wouldn't want to bump over younger children & toddlers make me uncomfortable. So, if you have kids 15+ let's meet!

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet, happy & fun-natured guy who has earned the reputation of being 'goofy, quirky & funny'. I am full of playful energy & am not shy about speaking my mind if I see someone outside of my home, so an apartment/condo-type home would not be a good fit for me. I would love a backyard with a fence, as one of my favorite activities is chasing a ball. I will bring it back to you as long as you will throw it. My foster has realized that I am also very good at entertaining myself inside too. I'm the best office companion as I love hanging out under my foster's desk while she works. I'm very sweet, protective & fun—see the 'Likes' section below & read about my fan club! I'm also great in the shower or bathtub, when my foster gives me my bath. Affectionate & social with the people I've been properly introduced to, I have all the traits of a great companion. I, however, am not the kind of dog you would take to the kids' sporting events, or a busy park. I look forward to meeting all the members of my new home at my adoption! / My energy level is 6–8, so I am looking for a family member who will be active with me, playing ball & going for walks.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience so I've learned the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' & 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette & have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping when properly introduced. I can get distracted by sounds I hear on my walk that I don't recognize, so my trainer & foster tell me to 'leave it' to keep me on track on our walks. I'm so smart that my foster has taught me to lift each paw to be wiped off when coming back inside & not to come into the kitchen. Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for their rescue dogs. / I did well in my little room at Mostly Mutts. In my foster home, I have perfect crate manners & easily go into my crate when my foster has to leave the house. I even put myself to bed at night, by going into my crate without being asked. My foster does crate me before workmen come to the home. / In my foster home, I have had wonderful potty manners with no accidents.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I LOVE treats, toys (especially rubber ones with deep squeakers), Nylabones & large squeaky tennis balls. A nice, fenced yard would be great for our play sessions. When it's time to relax, I enjoy lots of petting & cuddles, & I secretly believe I'm a lap dog, so don't be surprised if I climb up & give you a big hug with my paws on your shoulders as I love being close to my people. I also like my morning walks, though I'll need a strong walker since I'm a strong boy & can sometimes be reactive to people & other animals (though in my foster home I've improved so much at not being reactive to people). In fact, on our nice quiet neighborhood walks I'm thrilled to visit the neighbors who pet me, even pulling toward their houses—they are my fan club! A nice quiet type of neighborhood is just what I love. I absolutely love car rides, too! / I dislike thunder & bark at it a bit—like, hey quiet down up there! I previously reacted to the vacuum cleaner & doorbells, but I'm getting better at not chasing the vacuum cleaner & settle much quicker when the doorbell rings in my foster home.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped & neutered. I should wear a muzzle or be pre-medicated when vetted & for nail trims as this can be pretty frightening to me. I may try to snack on my #2, but there are supplements that can help prevent that—also my foster just cleans it up, so I don't.

I am looking for a dog savvy, loving family where I will be cherished! My adoption fee is $299.00, & I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a very sweet, friendly puppy with a fun-loving personality and lots of puppy charm! I’m an energetic little loverboy who enjoys making people smile, whether I’m being silly in the Mostly Mutts play yard or showing off my playful side during my photo shoot. I was active, vocal, and full of fun for the camera, and I was also a brave boy during my bath, standing still throughout the whole process like a champ. I’m a lovable pup who’s ready to bring plenty of joy, laughter, and puppy kisses to my forever family. / Energy level: currently 4-6, of course this could change as I grow up.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more! Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers (once I’ve had all my puppy shots) for all their adopted dogs! I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / You can crate train me. / I’m just a baby so I’ll need my family to potty train me in my new home.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love playing with toys, spending time with the nice volunteers, and, of course, playtime of any kind! As a puppy, I enjoy all the fun that comes with being young—playing, exploring, learning new things, and making every day an adventure. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered.

If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

SMART, SWEET & FUN: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 55 lbs.

Hi, I'm Jazzy! I came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a home! Thankfully, they took me in, and I've been having fun and soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers. I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and I am still learning how to play and love playing chase with them! If you have a nice doggie at home already, let's meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / A home with kids 15+ that will follow the guidelines related to food and bones could be a good match, so let's meet.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a big lovebug with a sweet, smart, and outgoing personality! I'm also an energetic, strong, active, and friendly girl who loves being with people and sharing my happy spirit. I was a bit of a scaredy-cat during my bath, but I was still through most of it, was very good for my ear cleaning, and was all smiles once I was back on the floor. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion with a big heart, I'm ready to meet you! It's just been discovered that I have some resource guarding related to my food and bones in tight spaces. I was in a tight space and nipped a person that came too close while I was eating, this is very manageable and the folks at Mostly Mutts will go over that with you. Also, I did not show this behavior at all in the off-site training program. / Energy level: 8-10, so I'll need lots of fun exercise with my new family!

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience, so I've learned the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. I enjoy my training and am eager to please! Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts as well as in the off-site training program. / My potty habits are good in the off-site training program.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time with the nice volunteers, going for walks, and romping around the Mostly Mutts play yard. Honestly, if it involves people, I'm probably going to love it—I'm happiest when I'm with my humans and being active! I'm learning that toys are fun and I'm particularly enjoying hard balls. / Other than being unsure during my bath and harsh words or being treated harshly (I'm a gentle, sensitive soul), I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.

I'm a wonderful companion looking for a wonderful family that will treasure me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.

‘WINTER OLYMPICS’ THEMED MOMMA: Approx. 4 years old / Approx. 45 lbs.

Hi there, I’m Elana—momma to the Winter Olympics themed puppies who have all been adopted! My puppies and I came to Mostly Mutts, thanks to a kind person who helped all of us get here safely. I finished raising my puppies in a wonderful foster home, was adopted for a couple of weeks, but we weren’t a good match, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for my people. I’m sharing time between my two wonderful foster homes while I wait.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’m doing great with the dog in my foster home, who gives me boundaries when I need them. I also LOVED playing with the dogs in my former foster home, and my temporary adoptive family reported that I enjoyed the dogs I met while I was with them, too. I also did well with the dogs I met at Mostly Mutts! I’m an energetic, playful pup, so I may be a bit much for a dog who prefers a quieter lifestyle. If you have a dog who’s looking for an active playmate to romp and have lots of fun with, let’s meet! P.S. I make growly noises when I play. / When I was in a chill mood, I pretty much ignored the kitties in my former foster home, but when I was in play mode, I did a good bit of play bowing and tried to be mouthy with them and chased them—though I never harmed them. All cats are different, so I’m not sure how I would do with other cats. / I liked the kids aged 6-14 years old I met while with my foster family. I’m super active and a jumpy, mouthy player, so older children in my new home would be best.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a super sweet and friendly girl who is learning about wonderful in-home doggie life. I get excited to meet new people because I think everyone might be my new best friend! Overall, I’m pretty quiet, but I may alert bark/howl at a delivery driver or suspicious sound I hear outside. I’ve got a curious, free spirit and I love exploring the world around me—if it’s something I can sniff, pick up, or check out with my mouth or paws, I’m definitely interested! My former foster worked on teaching me to ‘drop it’ when I find something to explore that isn’t mine, and I’ll want my new family to continue that with me. New places can make me a little nervous at first, and when I get overwhelmed, I might try to run away, so I need someone who will help me feel safe and keep a close eye on me while I’m learning. A yard with a privacy fence would be a great fit for me to play in and explore with you, though my temp. family reported that I could get out of their fence, so please stay with me until you know I won’t try to do that. I’m learning how to live in a home, and my foster reports that I’m doing so well! I want a patient family who knows a good bit about dogs and training to guide me with kindness and consistency. If you’re willing to help me learn and grow, I promise to give you lots of love, hugs, and loyal companionship in return. My foster says I am ‘funny to watch and a joy to have around’ and a ‘true gem’—I bet you will agree! / My energy level is 5-6, so I need a good bit of consistent exercise.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’ and ‘shake’ commands and have pretty good leash walking manners, with just the rare zigzag now. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My former foster indicated it was mealtime or nap time by using the word ‘kennel’ and I would gladly go running to it. I sleep well in my crate at nighttime, and it’s been clean and dry in the mornings. / My potty habits are improving in my foster homes with just an occasional accident. So, I’ll need my new family to help me with a consistent schedule.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play with my doggie friends and—when it is time for a game of tug of war, I may include my people in the fun, too! Treat puzzle toys are very engaging for me, and I love peanut butter-filled Kong toys as well. Stuffed toys are just the best and I’m a true cuddle bug. In my former foster home—the evenings were fun as I’d happily run zoomies around the backyard with a toy in my mouth, getting my energy out before bedtime. I love morning and evening walks, plus the nice naps that follow. I also really enjoy belly rubs, attention, chewing on ice, and snacks! / I am fearful of storms and medication helps so please ask about this. I wouldn’t be happy in a home that’s not patient and willing to train me and be active with me, and like all dogs, I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.

I am looking for a loving home with a family that will be active with me and continue my training! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

A FRIENDLY LITTLE FELLOW: Approx. 10 years old / Approx. 14 lbs.

Hi, I'm Newton! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I hope to meet them very soon and charm them with my cuteness! I came in heartworm positive, but I'm doing the slow kill method that can easily be done in my new home. I got to spend some time in a nice foster home and now I'm ready to find my new family.

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I can be around other dogs but should NOT live with another dog due to guarding food and treats and these things cannot be around us when we're together. There was a bite related to this guarding, so just ask about that. / I ignored the cat in my former foster home, but all cats are different, so I'm not sure how I would be with another kitty, and no food or treats should be around us. / I haven't met kids yet, but Mostly Mutts thinks kids 15+ who can follow the guidelines with food and treats that work with me, so if you have kids like this, let's meet.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a curious boy with a little pep in my step and a whole lot of sweetness! I'm friendly, loving, and happy, curious and everyone says I'm such a good dog and a little sweetheart. I have fun little bursts of energy and cuteness—rolling around in the grass, chasing my tail, tossing a toy in the air and doing that cute little prayer paws pose with a little dance when I am so hopeful you will give me a treat. I am also very affectionate and can give kisses for days. I followed my former foster around like a little shadow—do you need one? / Energy level: 3-5, but may increase a bit after my heartworm treatment.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the 'sit', 'come' and 'place' commands and I also know how to accept friendly strangers without jumping. I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I did well in my crate at Mostly Mutts and slept well in a little pen area with an open crate in my former foster home. / My potty habits were good in my foster home.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love cuddles, pets, scritches, kisses, food and I enjoy going for walks, exploring all the sniffs and sights. I also love to roll around outside in the sunshine. Once I'm settled into my new home, I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we will love to do together! / I get a little nervous during baths and car rides and like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. Sadly, I wasn't kept on heartworm prevention in my previous home, so I'm heartworm positive. The good news is that I am doing the slow kill method that can easily be done in my new home. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I'm on medicated baths once a week a little while longer to help with flaky skin from a flea allergy and these can be done easily in my new home.

I'm a little sweetheart looking for a wonderful family that will take great care of me and love me forever! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
