🍀 Meet Cookie Clover! 🍀Cookie Clover is an adorable 2-year-old Dachshund mix weighing about 13 lbs. She is one of the sweetest, most loving little dogs you'll ever meet. She really needs a home with another dog 💕Cookie is a sensitive girl who can be a little anxious at first, so she'll need a little time, patience, and a few treats to settle in. Once she trusts you, she's an absolute cuddle bug who just wants to be close to her person. She would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and would be happiest with someone who works from home or isn't gone for long hours. She's great with cats, loves to play, and has a huge heart. She's learning that pottying outside is the way to go after previously using potty pads, so expect a normal adjustment period. Crate training is also a work in progress.Cookie and her sister haven't always lived together and do not have to be adopted together, but we'd love to see them stay connected with play dates—and we'd be happy to offer a discounted adoption fee if someone wanted to keep them together. If you're looking for a loyal little shadow with so much love to give, Cookie Clover might be your perfect match. 💗Please submit a detailed adoption application at www.K9ppr.org. Detailed applications are required to help ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters.

🤍 Meet Angel Eyes 🤍The sweet 2 ish year-old Poodle mix weighing about 16 pounds. He may have some Maltese or bichon or even Westie mixed in there. He requires a savvy home with another friendly resident dog in the home.🏡 His Ideal Home✔️ Patient, experienced adopters who understand shy, fearful rescue dogs✔️ A friendly resident dog to help him feel secure and show him the ropes✔️ A family committed to positive reinforcement, routine, and continued confidence-building✔️ Someone willing to work through a learning curve with potty training and house manners (he is doing very well with this and even asking to go outside potty when he needs to go, but there will be a learning curve and he may mark in a new environment, like any new dog)✔️ Older, gentle children (13+) who understand how to respect a dog's space❤️ Things to KnowAngel Eyes does not show well when you first meet him. From what we know, he was likely an outdoor only dog who lived with a couple other dogs and was not socialized in public, just with the people who lived there. Becausr of this and being abandoned when the people moved and being chased on the street he needs time to warm up and decide you're safe before he wants affection. One of the most important things his adopter can do is advocate for him by not allowing strangers to pet or grab at him until he asks for that interaction. Building trust at his pace is essential to helping him feel secure. With his people, Angel Eyes is a completely different dog. He melts into your arms, loves being held like a baby, enjoys cuddling, and is incredibly sweet and tolerant. But in unfamiliar situations—especially around strangers, at the veterinarian, or at the groomer—he can become overwhelmed, fearful, and nippy if he's pushed beyond his comfort zone. He does give visual cues when he's uncomfortable, so it's only when he feels trapped or pressured and that is not respected that he may nip or bite, so we just want to be sure he feels safe and his new people are savvy enough to read that. His new family will need to understand that confidence isn't built by forcing interactions. It's built through patience, calm leadership, positive experiences, and allowing him to choose when he's ready. Sitting nearby, tossing treats, ignoring him until he approaches, and respecting his boundaries helps him blossom. He also seems to be a lot more comfortable when there are other friendly, playful dogs around to help him feel secure. He could definitely benefit from basic training to help build his confidence. We really would love him to go with another friendly dog to help him feel safe and encourage him to play.🐾 His StoryWhen Angel Eyes came into rescue, he was severely neglected. His coat was painfully matted with foxtails embedded throughout his fur, ears, and even deep in his groin, causing infections and significant pain. Grooming and veterinary care became frightening experiences because they were associated with discomfort. His reactions were rooted in fear and pain—not aggression. Now that he's healthy, comfortable, and finally experiencing kindness, his true personality shines a little more every day.✂️ Grooming RequirementMaltese/Poodle mixes require professional grooming every 4-6 weeks. Without routine grooming, their coats become painfully matted, trap debris like foxtails, and can lead to painful skin infections. This is a lifelong commitment and an essential part of keeping Angel Eyes healthy and comfortable.❤️ The RewardThe family willing to give Angel Eyes the time he needs will be rewarded with one of the sweetest little companions you'll ever meet. He absolutely loves other dogs, does well with cats, enjoys playing with his dog friends, and is happiest curled up next to the people he loves and trusts.❤️ To be considered for adoption, please submit a detailed application at www.K9ppr.org. We require detailed applications to help ensure the very best lifelong match for both our dogs and their new families.

Meet Button 🐾Button is a handsome young wire-haired terrier/Schnauzer mix, 26lbs, around 2-3 years old, with gorgeous golden-hazel eyes, a soft white chest and an adorable little white mohawk that fits his goofy personality perfectly. Please read Button's full bio before applying, as he has some specific needs and we're looking for a home that will truly be the right fit for him.One really important thing to know about Button: he probably isn't going to "show" well at a first meet.Button can be insecure with new people, and it often takes meeting someone a time or two before you really get to see who he is. We don't want someone to meet him once, see a nervous or unsure dog and assume that's his personality.Once Button decides you're safe and lets his guard down, he's a completely different dog. He's goofy, affectionate, loyal, talkative and has SO much personality.Button's home requirements:• A securely fenced yard• Another playful dog in the home• An active adopter committed to regular walks, hikes and exercise• No apartments• No young children• Experienced, patient and dog-savvy adopters• Someone willing to give him time to build trust instead of expecting an instant connectionThese things are important for Button and aren't just preferences. We've gotten to know him well and know what kind of environment he needs to be happy and successful.Button loves being part of the action. Walks around the neighborhood, trail hikes, adventures with his people... he needs that in his life. Regular exercise is really important for him. If he doesn't get enough walks, hikes and opportunities to get out and use his brain, he can become anxious and restless. At home, he's actually a pretty chill guy when those needs are being met. He loves lounging on his back with all four legs in the air, hanging out with his people and soaking up attention. And Button "talks." 😂 He makes all kinds of funny little sounds and chatter when he's excited or wants your attention. He definitely has opinions and isn't shy about sharing them. He's also VERY smart. He figured out the dog door almost immediately and settled into his foster home's routine quickly. He is potty trained, although any dog can have a learning curve in a new home, and he is pretty well crate trained.Button does have some insecurities that his future family needs to understand. He can become uncomfortable or overstimulated in certain situations and has previously nipped toward joggers who unexpectedly ran toward him on walks. He is muzzle trained for situations where some extra management is appropriate. His muzzle is simply a safety tool that allows him to still get out and enjoy life while setting him up for success.Because of his sensitivities, Button is not appropriate for a home with young children. He needs a more predictable environment with people who can understand his body language, respect his boundaries and advocate for him.The biggest thing we want people to understand is that the Button you meet on day one probably isn't the Button you'll know once he feels safe with you.He may not immediately crawl into your lap or convince you that you're his new best friend at a meet and greet. Give him a little time. Once you're one of his people, you get the funny, affectionate, quirky little guy his foster family knows and loves.Button isn't going to be the right dog for every home, and that's okay. We're looking for the home that understands what he needs and will appreciate the incredibly smart, fun and loyal dog underneath those initial insecurities. To be considered for Button, please submit a detailed adoption application so we can help make sure it's the right match for everyone.Apply at: www.K9ppr.org

🐾 Meet Chibi! 🤍

This adorable 18-pound Doodle/Poodle mix is looking for a new beginning through absolutely no fault of her own. Sadly, both of her previous owners have become too ill to care for her, and now Chibi is hoping to find a family to love her for the rest of her life.

Her name means "tiny one" in Japanese, and she truly is a little bundle of love.

Chibi is affectionate, intelligent, and happiest when she's with her people. Whether she's following you around the house, joining you for a walk, playing with her toys, or curling up beside you for a nap, she just wants to be part of the family.

✨ Chibi is:
• Approximately 18 lbs, 2 ish years old
• Potty trained
• Crate trained
• Leash trained
• Great with other dogs
• We think she would do well with cats given a proper introduction and time to adjust
• Wonderful with gentle, kind children who take the time to let her get to know them
• Sweet, gentle, and well-mannered in the home

She transitions easily into family life and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes her a joy to have around.

After losing the only home she's known because of circumstances completely beyond anyone's control, Chibi deserves another chance with a family who will cherish her as much as she deserves.

Like all K9 Paw Print Rescue dogs, Chibi is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and up to date on age-appropriate veterinary care before adoption.

Could you be the happy ending Chibi has been waiting for? ❤️

Please submit a detailed adoption application at www.K9ppr.org. Detailed applications are a must to help ensure the best possible fit for both our dogs and adopters.

She is doing well with crate and potty training but is still learning, so expect the normal adjustment period that comes with any new dog. She absolutely adores other dogs, cats, and gentle kids.
