Sacramento- Meet Brie, the delightful 2-year-old French Bulldog with a heart as warm as her fur. Brie is a charming canine companion, characterized by her laid-back demeanor and love for leisure. While she may not be a morning enthusiast, her playful side emerges when the mood strikes, making her a delightful playmate.

Brie's unique story adds a layer of depth to her character. She was previously the cherished companion of an owner who faced physical challenges but provided her with love and care. Unfortunately, her owner has passed away, and now Brie is seeking a new loving home.

This adorable Frenchie is a social butterfly with other animals, displaying a non-dominant and friendly attitude. She's currently in the process of learning crate and house training, showcasing her adaptability and willingness to learn. Brie has been spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

One of Brie's endearing quirks is her preference for sleeping on your bed, where she can unleash her impressive snoring talents. Despite the noise, her comforting presence is sure to bring joy and warmth to your nights.

If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing, and affectionate furry friend, Brie might be the perfect addition to your home. Give this lovable French Bulldog the chance to share her love and companionship with a new family.

Ginger Spice's journey began in foster care, where she was born into a loving environment. One of Ginger Spice's most endearing qualities is her exceptional animal socialization skills. She has grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, making her a perfect fit for multi-pet households. Her friendly nature ensures that she'll get along swimmingly with furry friends of all shapes and sizes.

Born on December 22nd, Spice is currently in a critical stage of development, making continued socialization a priority. In addition to her vivacious personality, Ginger Spice is undeniably gorgeous. Her striking appearance, combined with her friendly demeanor and playful spirit, makes her utterly irresistible. Who could resist those puppy-dog eyes and that infectious grin?

Meet Aggie!

(Formerly Ronan, but he’s upgraded—new name, same adorable chaos.)

Born on October 16th, Aggie is a 27-pound snuggle nugget which is the perfect size for lap warming, bed hogging, and dramatically throwing himself into your arms like the star of a telenovela. With a gorgeous seal-colored coat, a heart of gold, and just enough goofball energy to keep your life interesting. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to wiggle his way straight into your lap and your heart.

Aggie didn’t have the easiest start. He and his three siblings came from a heartbreaking situation—only two survived after being neglected by another rescue, and his dog mom checked out early on. The pups were dangerously underweight and had to be bottle-fed back to health. So yeah, Aggie has seen some things… and he’s here to tell the tale (mostly through zoomies and enthusiastic barking at the wind).

Because of that rocky start, Aggie resource guards his food—totally understandable—so he’s fed in his crate. Outside the food bowl? Total love bug. Raised with other dogs, he’s playful, social, and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to wrestle and romp with.

Now, full disclosure: Aggie isn’t gunning for “Dog Jeopardy” any time soon. But what he lacks in academic ambition, he makes up for in charm and commitment to being the most snuggly loaf in the room. I can't say it enough, he thrives on affection, belly rubs, and curling up as close to you as physically possible—he's basically a weighted blanket with legs.

Now, don’t be fooled by his size—Aggie has the energy of a dog twice his weight and the vocal cords of a town crier. Is that a bird? A breeze? A suspicious-looking Amazon box? You’ll hear about it. (We suspect there’s some chihuahua in the family tree.) He is probably part chihuahua, part neighborhood watch captain.

He may not be the calmest dog on the block, but he makes up for it with charm, resilience, and top-tier cuddling skills. If you're looking for a funny, affectionate sidekick who’s overcome the odds and still greets life with a tail wag and a full-body wiggle—Aggie’s your guy.

Norah is an energetic girl who loves to play. She has been waiting forever for a home of her own. She enjoys playing with the dogs in the house. She also lives with a cat, that she likes to chase. We think with boundaries and more training she could live with a dog savvy cat. She loves all peoples. She is house and crate trained. Norah is your typical active girk, she can also chill out and chew on a nyla bone for hours. Norah would be a fantastic addition to any family. She is one of those dogs that fits in with everyone. If you are interested in Norah, you can fill out an application here.

*SPECIAL NEEDS*

Meet Croquette, affectionately known as K, a French Bulldog puppy who is not only adorable but truly special in every way. Despite facing some significant challenges, K embodies the spirit of resilience and boundless joy.

This delightful pup shares all the typical traits of a French Bulldog puppy – she loves to play, indulge in chewy hooves, enjoy her meals, and bask in the warmth of snuggles. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and she'll dance with excitement, hoping you'll scoop her up for some extra love.

K, however, is a very special girl, born with severe defects, including Spina Bifida with an open defect and leg differences, as well as hydrocephalus (or missing parts of her brain). These conditions mean that her back legs didn't form correctly, and she'll require diapers throughout her life. Her balance is a work in progress, and she may experiences occasional seizures (no meds required as none have helped).

While K's special care demands around 45 minutes a day, she firmly believes she deserves attention at all times. She is on the lookout for a family that can provide constant companionship. Foster mom works but luckily someone stops in to care for K during the day.

K will eat hard food but doesn't have the drive for water, so she is fed mush (often by the spoon) to make sure she gets hydrated.

Handling her bathroom needs involves gentle expressions, a routine that K takes in stride. This may seem like a lot, but the reward is immeasurable – the sheer happiness and joy that K brings to every moment.

In terms of life expectancy, K's story aligns with another dog adopted out six years ago with similar conditions, who is still thriving today. While the duration of any dog's life is uncertain, what truly matters is the love and cherishment they receive during their time.

For those willing to embrace the uniqueness of caring for a special needs pup and provide a loving home, the adoption fee is waived for the right match. To learn more about the adoption process and apply online, visit AdoptPet - Recycled Pets NorCal
