MEET PARIS!
Paris recently graduated a professional board and train program with Ridgeside K9 Central MD and is an absolute fabulous little dog. Spirited and playful, Paris just loves life! She is a fun sidekick who enjoys fetch more than anything else - except cuddling up next to you when playtime is over. She will play, play, PLAY for as long as is cool with you, and then will settle when asked.
Now fully trained (how AMAZING is that!?!), Paris is awaiting her furever family. She is a happy girl with a zest for life. Her foster mom and trainers all report that she is wonderful. There are no other dogs in her foster home, but Paris has lived with a senior cat previously and was fine with it. While in training, Paris saw lots of dogs of different sizes and showed a normal curiosity towards them. We think she would adjust fine to another friendly dog, but can also be an only dog.
Paris has learned consistency and obedience while at Ridgeside and has all the foundations needed for future success. Paris’ future adopters will have a fabulously trained dog and will receive guidance on how to continue her on her learning path.
Paris’ adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.

MEET LITTLE BIRD!

This cutie pahtootie is a young adult (estimated at 7) and weighs only 13 pounds and, spoiler alert… she’s amazing! She is not only adorable, she is smart – and she is going to pen the rest of her own bio. Take it from here, Little Bird!

“I'm a curious little girl who's always interested in what's happening around me. Whether we're going for a walk, exploring the neighborhood, or just relaxing at home, I'm happiest being part of whatever you're doing. I'm also a great work-from-home buddy and am happy to quietly keep you company while you work or relax.

I love my toys, and if I think it's time to play, I'll proudly bring one over to you. Every morning starts with a good back roll before I head to my favorite sunny spot to soak up the sun for the morning. One of my favorite things is simply watching the world go by. I love people-watching on walks, and I'll even stop to peek inside stores just to see what's going on.

When I first arrived at my foster home, everything felt scary and unfamiliar. With patience, kindness, and a little time, I discovered that I was finally safe. Since then, I've become much more confident, affectionate, and playful, and I've even learned to relax when my foster family needs to leave me home alone. I may be shy at first if I just met you, but give me a little time and I’ll be your best little buddy! We think a home with respectful humans over the age of 12 is best for me.

I enjoy the company of other friendly dogs and especially love playing with bigger dogs, but I also respect boundaries and am happy to give the other dog space if it’s not into me. I think I’d be fine if there was a cat around, but I haven’t met one yet. I'm potty trained, have learned the household routine really well, and once I feel safe, my playful and curious personality really shines. If you're looking for a loyal little companion who will happily follow you around, keep you company, make you smile with my funny little routines, and remind you to slow down and enjoy a sunny afternoon, I might just be your girl.”

Little Bird’s adoption donation fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.

MEET FLASH!

Super sleek, soft and shiny-coated, Flash is a year old and is the perfect compact size of about 50 lbs. She is fully trained and house broken. A designer mutt; DNA test says she is half Siberian Husky and half APBT, although she looks more like a shepherd.

Flash is super loving and quickly bonds to her people. She’s been great with kids and adults alike. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but a few well placed treats do the trick. We call her The Melder, because if it were up to her, she would cozy up to you and meld herself to you! You bend down to give some pets and pretty soon you’re on the floor with a dog in your lap, which is about the greatest thing ever.

Flash is past the shark-puppy phase, but young enough to be super goofy. She tosses balls for herself and has short puppy fits running up and down stairs and parkouring that will have you laughing at her antics. Her coat is short and silky soft. She doesn’t shed a whole lot. Flash is athletic and can clear 4 foot fences...but she seems only interested in escaping if one of her people is on the other side of that fence. Despite being athletic and somewhat high energy, Flash does just fine with moderate walks and activity.

She has done great with another dog in the house–she plays hard and loves to wrestle. She does best with male dogs and other females that don’t need to be in charge. Fully trained, she has obedience down and walks well on a leash.

Anyone considering Flash for their pack should expect to need to establish the house rules and boundaries or this young lady will try to push the limits - she’s like a toddler who doesn’t like nap time, but will go when she knows she doesn’t have the winning vote. She has all the training foundations, she just needs a leader who can keep her consistent.

Flash’s adoption donation fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.

MEET GEORGIA!
Little Georgia, as her foster pawrents call her, is just blooming in foster care after being found running in traffic as a stray. Estimated to be about 4 years old and weighing 17 lbs, this little beauty got a bath and a spiffy new hair cut after getting her booster shots earlier so she is a healthy, gorgeous and very happy little girl.
Here’s what her foster mom has to say about her…
“This dog is a really, really good girl. She’s a great size. She loves to cuddle. She’s got a lot of spunk. She eats well. She loves treats. She sits, she shakes. She sits in the backseat of the car and doesn’t cry. She sleeps on the floor or in a bed although she would probably be happy if you invited her up, lol. She’s really friendly and gets along with other dogs. She’ll come up to you and rub all over your feet looking for a belly rub. She’s a beautiful brown color and very soft. She has the cutest little eyebrows.”
Although Georgia is the happy little pack leader of 3 other adorable dogs in her foster home, she is ready to find her own castle. She is a petite little thing so kids must be over the age of 10 please.
Georgia's adoption donation fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.

MEET MAISIE!
Once lost with her mama and siblings, this little girl was scared of the world and unsure of how to walk on a leash or what toys and couches are for. Her cuddly and curious side has now emerged in her foster home and she is the sweetest, cuddliest puppy.
Now about 10 months old and 33 lbs, she is thought to be a hound mix (we know what her mom and siblings look like, but not dad) and will remain a compact size. Her foster pawrents report that she is incredibly smart, active, energetic and agile. She loves yogurt, peanut butter, carrots, celery, blueberries and strawberries - and the way she sticks her little tongue out is the cutest thing ever. You will fall in love when she sticks it out and snores when it’s nap time! She also has amazing ears and the cutest curly tail. Her favorite toy is a Kong filled with yogurt and peanut butter, and she absolutely loves playing fetch or playing “catch me” with other dogs.
Smart little Maisie is potty trained (and knows how to use a doggy door) and crate trained and will go in at bed time (but will steal a cuddle in your bed if you let her!) or when you need to go out and do people things. She has met teenagers and did great. She is not mouthy at all and just likes to lick and give kisses. She also never barks and doesn’t care if another dog steals her toy - she will just try to play tug.
Although she is a little shy when she meets new people, once she feels comfortable (it takes about ½ day) she will cuddle you to pieces. She instantly does well with other dogs and lives with two resident dogs. They love playing and often go hiking on trails and play along the river. The little pack is adorable and Maisie is learning the ropes from them. Maisie should go to a home with at least one other dog in it.
Maisie’s adoption donation fee is $450, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for her by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org. Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.
