Hey there, I’m Archie! I’m a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd / Coonhound mix, sporting handsome tricolor markings and sitting at an athletic 51 pounds. I won’t sugarcoat it: when I first landed here, the world felt way too loud and my whole body wouldn't stop shaking. But with a little patience and a lot of kindness, I found my footing—and my courage! I still take about sixty seconds to gauge a brand-new human, but once I see you're safe, I soften right into your hands. I adore kids, and I’m a huge fan of other dogs! When making new furry pals, I just do best meeting them directly on a loose leash instead of through fences or gates. I walk nicely on a leash and was fully housebroken before coming here, so I just need a steady routine to pick right back up where I left off. One small detail from my hound roots: feathered friends are entirely too exciting for me, so I’m calling for a strictly chicken-free backyard! My vet paperwork is totally clean—I’m neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all shots, and tested negative across the board for heartworms and tick diseases. If you’ve got room in your life for a gentle soul who just needed a second chance to shine, come out and meet me!

Hey there! I’m Honeysuckle!I’m a 51-pound German Shepherd mix with striking black and white fur, turning 2 years old this December (2026)… and I come with a serious flair for adventure! I was found as a stray, which basically makes me a professional explorer! I’ve sniffed more sidewalks than most dogs dream of! Not bad for a young girl like myself!Fortunately, I was found by some caring people, and am looking to be placed in a loving home.I’m a friendly and curious gal and so far, I've really enjoyed the people (and other dogs!) I've met at AHOTO. Now, I am still a puppy so my manners are hit or miss and I have quite a bit of energy. I mean well but hey, what do you expect?! I've never had any proper training. I am smart though and I know I will catch on really quick so please give me a shot. I just need a family that is willing to take me to training and give me all the exercise and mental enrichment I need to be a happy and healthy pup - that way we can ALL live happily ever after! The END!

She’s curious about the world around her and loves being part of whatever is going on.With her affectionate personality, gentle heart, and playful spirit, Rockette is ready to find a forever family to call her own. Hi there! I’m Skips, a 1.5-year-old black-and-white Hound mix weighing in at an easy, athletic 33 pounds! If you’re looking for a fun, smart sidekick who matches big outdoor energy with top-tier cuddle skills, look no further!Kennel life can make me feel like a total spaz, but in a real home setting, I settle right in like an old pro. My previous foster family gave me a glowing report card, calling me one of the most affectionate, cuddly dogs they’d ever met! I’m fully housebroken, get along wonderfully with kids, and love making friends with any dog I meet. I’m also super smart and eager to please: I already know "sit," "touch," and "shake," and I'm polishing up my leash walking every day. My ideal weekend? Hitting the trail for a nice hike, grabbing a pup cup on the way back, and then melting across your lap for the evening. A quick note on cats: I love everyone so much that I do try to chase them just to play, so feline friends should be dog-savvy or okay with a playful shadow! I'm all set on my care checklist: neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all shots, and tested negative on my full heartworm and tick panel! If you’re looking for an active, loyal adventure buddy who loves as hard as he plays, come meet me today!
