♥️ Meet Ayden, our stunning three-year-old Anatolian Shepherd! This gentle giant is neutered, up to date on all his shots, and on monthly heartworm prevention. With two years of obedience training and skills in Rally and Tricks, Ayden is both well-mannered and fun-loving.

Ayden is fabulous with children and won't chase the birds, making him an excellent family dog. He's been the perfect gentleman with everyone, from toddlers to seniors. This well-socialized, house-friendly pup prefers hanging out with his human friends over working as a livestock guardian dog. ♥️

Meet Caramel

Caramel’s story began with heartbreak, but it is becoming one of hope, healing, and second chances.

Caramel was abandoned and left to fend for herself while pregnant. With no shelter, no water, and no one to care for her, she gave birth to ten tiny puppies in the Texas heat. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan discovered this little family and knew they desperately needed help.

Caramel was severely neglected. Her coat was painfully matted to the skin and covered in ticks. She had sores beneath the mats and was so malnourished that her ribs and hip bones were clearly visible. Her coat was beyond saving and had to be completely shaved.

Caramel and her ten babies were taken to Dallas Animal Services, and within just a couple of hours, they were safely with Texas All Creatures Rescue. That was the day Caramel’s healing journey began.

Today, she is thriving thanks to her amazing foster mom.

Caramel has gained much-needed weight, her beautiful parchment-colored coat is growing back in, and all ten of her puppies have found wonderful families of their own. After everything she did to keep her babies alive, it is finally Caramel’s turn.

Caramel is around two years old, approximately 48 pounds, and we believe she is a Terrier mix, possibly with Labradoodle. She is house trained, playful, and has the most beautiful, sweet and gentle temperament. She gets along wonderfully with the other dogs and cats in her foster home and truly seems to appreciate every bit of love and kindness that comes her way.

Caramel has left her days of neglect behind her. Now she simply needs the final piece of her story, a loving family of her very own.

She survived. She healed. She raised ten beautiful babies.

Now it’s Caramel’s turn to be someone’s baby. To apply for Carmel: TexasACR.org

Meet Candy!
♥️

Sweet little Candy is part of our C Litter, born to their beautiful mama, Caramel. This little family had a heartbreaking beginning. Caramel was abandoned at a Dallas apartment complex after her family moved away, leaving her to give birth and care for her 10 tiny puppies alone in the brutal Texas heat.

By the time help arrived, Caramel was extremely thin and depleted, but she had never stopped doing everything she could to care for her babies.

Today, Candy is 3 weeks old, healthy, growing and beginning to discover the world around her. She’s a precious little girl with the sweetest face, and we can’t wait to watch her personality continue to blossom.

Candy is now available for pre-adoption and will be ready to join her forever family on
September 19th.
