Miss Bella is a lovely lady who is estimated to be between 10-12 years old weighing about 27lbs. Even though Bella is a senior, she does need her daily walk. She is currently walking 1-2 miles daily, after which she is content to sleep and relax the rest of the day. She is a love sponge and will happily accept your pets and if you’re lucky some couch cuddles. She is good with other dogs in the home and would do well with a playmate, but she would also love to be the apple of your eye having your undivided attention during her golden years.

Bella is potty trained and has done well being left alone in the house with her dog sister. While she has good house manners overall, she is a bit of an opportunist and if there is unattended food on the table or counter, she will do a bit of counter surfing to go after it.

Like most Brittanys, Bella enjoys looking at and stalking birds and squirrels and needs a home with a yard that is secured by a 6 ft fence to patrol and chase small critters. She is not a jumpy dog and loves meeting new people and gets very excited playing with her humans.

Bella is an absolute sweetheart who melts the hearts of everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a golden girl who will love you to the moon and back, look no further than this bundle of joy.

Bella is spayed, current on her vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200 ($150.00 for a senior). If you are interested in making Bella a member of your family, and have the time, energy, and love to give her, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online adoption application form under the Adopt tab. A phone interview, home visit, and vet check will be required as part of the approval process. For more information after completing an application, contact Patti at 801.641.4053. Please realize all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs. We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis.

Meet Birk — Handsome, Huggable & Just a Little Bit Goofy!

WARNING: This handsome boy may steal your heart, your lap, and your favorite spot on the couch! ❤️

Meet Birk, a 6½-year-old, 36-pound orange-and-white Brittany gentleman with movie-star good looks, a heart of gold, and just enough goofiness to keep you laughing!

Birk may be 6½ years young, but nobody told him he's supposed to act his age! This happy, playful, energetic boy believes life is one big adventure, and he's ready to enjoy every minute of it with YOU!

Birk has two very important jobs in life:

Chief Bird & Butterfly Inspector: If it flies, flutters, wiggles, or moves in his yard, Birk is ON THE JOB! He'll strike his best Brittany pointing pose and proudly announce, "I've got my eye on you!"

Neighborhood Watch Captain: When he's not patrolling the backyard, you'll find him resting his adorable head on the windowsill, watching the world go by. Nosy neighbor? Maybe. Precious? ABSOLUTELY!

But don't let his busy schedule fool you! Underneath all that Brittany enthusiasm is a big ol' sweetheart who thinks he's a lap dog! ❤️ Birk is affectionate, gentle, intelligent, eager to please, and always ready to soak up every ounce of love you're willing to give.

This handsome fella has NEVER met a stranger! People are friends, new faces are future besties, and everyone deserves a little Birk love! He's the kind of boy who can walk into a room and leave with a whole new fan club.

A few of Birk's favorite things:

Long walks and exciting adventures!

Toys, toys, and MORE toys!

Car rides with his favorite humans!

❤️ Lap cuddles, affection, and being close to his people!

Birdwatching, pointing, and backyard investigations!

Making new friends and spreading happiness everywhere he goes!

Birk came into rescue as an owner surrender and has been well loved and cared for. He's up to date on his vaccinations and ready to find a wonderful forever family who will cherish him just as much as he deserves.

Birk's Dream Home: This energetic, curious boy needs a securely fenced yard with wrought iron or privacy fencing where he can safely enjoy his outdoor adventures, practice his pointing skills, and keep those pesky birds under surveillance!

Birk isn't looking for just a house. He's looking for his PERSON. Someone to take him on walks, laugh at his silly antics, toss his toys, and welcome all 36 pounds of him into their lap at the end of a wonderful day.

Because here's the thing about Birk...

He might spend his days pointing at birds, watching out windows, and chasing adventures, but the one thing he's really searching for is a forever family to love. ❤️

Could YOU be the lucky one who gets to call this handsome, goofy, precious boy YOURS?

Birk promises a lifetime of laughter, loyalty, wet kisses, and unconditional love.

Meet Jake, a 10 ½ years young neutered Orange & White Brittany looking for a very special home to call my own!
Jake is currently being fostered in Northern New York, but is really dreaming of a home of his own. Don’t let he’s age fool you he still has lots of Brittany puppy energy, curiosity and mischief making ability to give. He would love an active home where he gets to go on adventures and nice walks, as Jake gets so excited when the leash comes out says his foster mom. Jake loves being around people but can get pretty excited and jumpy at times so a new home with older, dog savvy children would be best suited for him. He also enjoys the fact his foster family works from home. So, Jake really hopes his new family also works from home, is retired, or will at least spend more time home then away too. Jake is crate trained but it does make him nervous and anxious.
Jake is also quite the “talker” especially when he needs or wants something. His foster Mom wishes Jake either spoke English or she understood dog, so he could maybe tell her about his past and why he has some of the traits he does. Jake can be pretty set in his ways at times, like when it comes to sharing toys or things he’s not suppose to have. When Jake has a favorite toy, socks or other items that he’s not supposed to have, he will grab and keep it close. It’s felt he may have never had “things” of his own so now that he does he doesn’t know how to act, which is something his fosters are working on.
Jake is not a fan of other dogs, his previous interaction with them have not been positive, so he now much prefers to be an only dog. Jake’s new home should also be cat free too, as he has the typical Brittany prey instinct when it comes to chasing small critters too. Despite his quirks Jake loves to snuggle, curling up in a lap and sleeping next to his fosters at night. Jake is housetrained, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, on prevention, and micro chipped too. So, now all that’s missing is a place to call home Forever! Is that your home?
If so, please consider filling out an application for Jake/NY online at: http://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application. Once your application is submitted the coordinator in the State where you reside will follow-up with you. Need to reach your State Coordinator, find their contact information here http://nbran.org/about/state-provincial-coordinators.
Jake’s adoption fee is 250.00 which will help NBRAN cover the vetting costs and other expenses associated with bringing Brits like Jake back to good health and readying them for adoption. Don't live in NY or close by, No Problem! NBRAN also has a wonderful transport team willing to help bring Brits like Jake to their new family, up to 1400 miles with the adoptive family being responsible for the last 100 miles, at no additional fee. Still have questions? Contact NY Coordinator Deb MacSherry at debmacsherry53@gmail.com Or Jean Rand at jrand13@gmail.com, Thank you!

Griff is a 2-year-old liver & white Brittany who loves prowling the yard for critters. He loves to play with his chuckit frisbee and does very well at catching it before it hits the ground. He knows sit, stay, come and does not jump. His previous owner sent him to hunting and obedience training and is supposed to be a good hunter. With the way he is in his fosters yard, he sure seems like he would be. He is e-collar trained and has excellent recall. He is a good rider in the car and UTV. He is very well trained and would be an asset to any family.

Hi, I’m Griff and I am full of energy! I am looking for a home that will give me a lot of exercise with a large fenced yard so I can run and chase all the critters. I will also need off leash runs to get my energy out. When I came to my foster’s home, I wouldn’t cuddle at all, but I have learned that I really love to cuddle up on my foster’s lap in the morning while she has her coffee and sometimes in the evening. I sleep in my own bed at night and do not even attempt to jump in my foster’s bed. However, when their grandkids are here, I jump in bed with them and settle next to them for the night. If I would be going to a home that has another dog, they cannot be the alpha or it will not work. If the other dog, wants to play on my terms we will get along just fine. I absolutely love my chuckit frisbee and need this to be thrown at least two times a day if not more. Although I do like to play tug with my chuck it, if you ignore me, I will drop it at your feet so you can throw it again for me. I am a very smart boy.

Griff will need a lot of daily exercise with his new family and a lot of attention. Griff would be most happy in a home that has somebody with him most of the time as he doesn’t like it when he is not with you. There should be a male figure in the household as he seems to be really attached to males. He does not get kenneled when the fosters leave, but they do have a huge fenced in back yard that he roams when by himself. He doesn’t try to climb the four-foot fence or dig under it. He has anxiety and has been put on a daily pill, which has helped him tremendously with his anxiety. He’s been checked from nose to tail and is up to date on all his vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative meds. Now all that’s missing is his Furever Home!

If you are interested in me, please fill out an NBRAN adoption application at: https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application and reference my name, Griff. My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me (and other fabulous rescued Britts) in excellent condition for a fabulous new home. You do not need to live in Wisconsin, where I am currently located, to adopt me. NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my forever home. If you have further questions, please contact the Wisconsin State coordinator at minnesotabrittany@gmail.com.

Abby — Her Happily-Ever-After Is Waiting

Hi there… I’m Abby, and I have a very important question for you:

Do you have room in your heart and on your couch for a girl who has been waiting a very long time to belong to someone?

I’m a beautiful 55-lb liver, white & roan Brittany/GSP mix, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I LOVE with my whole heart. I’m healthy, spayed, heartworm and tick negative, and on prevention. Now all I’m missing is my forever family.

I’m the perfect combination of silly and snuggly. I’ll get a case of the zoomies, race around and enjoy myself, and then—just like that—I’m ready to curl up beside you for some serious couch time. ️ I’m pretty sure being a professional cuddle buddy is the job I was born to do.

And personal space? Well… I may have heard of it.

If you’re my person, I want to be with you. That’s why getting a good picture of me can be tricky—I’d much rather be leaning against you, sitting beside you, or soaking up your love than posing for the camera.

I Want to Be Your One & Only

Abby loves her people BIG, and she would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home.

But please don’t think of that as something she’s missing.

Think of it this way: one very special girl gets to give one very lucky family ALL of her heart. ❤️

She isn't asking for doggie siblings. She is asking for YOU—someone who wants a devoted companion, a couch-sharing partner and a best friend who will be thrilled every single day that you came home.

A physical fenced yard is required so Abby can safely enjoy her sunshine, sniffing adventures and those adorable bursts of zoomies before coming back inside to her favorite place—right next to her person.

Her Past Is Behind Her. Her Future Is What Matters.

Abby's life wasn't always easy.

There was a time when she was frightened, confused and facing a future that almost ended far too soon. Kind people chose to give her another chance.

And Abby did something beautiful with that chance.

She blossomed.

Today, we don't want Abby's story to be about what almost happened to her.

We want it to be about what happens next.

We want the next chapter to be about the day someone saw her sweet face and decided:

“That's my girl.”

A warm bed.

A safe yard.

A spot on the couch.

A human to follow from room to room.

A lifetime of belly rubs, kisses and being ridiculously spoiled.

That's the ending we're looking for. ❤️

Abby doesn't need a perfect world.

She just needs to be someone's girl.

And whoever chooses her won't simply be giving Abby her forever home…

They'll be getting a loyal, affectionate, wonderfully silly girl who has been saving an enormous amount of love for the family she can finally call her own.

Abby is ready.

Her bags are packed.

Her heart is wide open.

Her couch-cuddling skills have been perfected.

Now she just needs someone to say, “Abby, you're home.”

The adoption fee for OK/Abby, who lives in Tulsa, OK area is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. If you are interested in making OK/Abby part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org . Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling. Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Abby-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com Once approved by your state coordinator, I will setup talking with you about Abby.
