

Meet Bridgett!

Bridgett is a sweet, gentle girl with a quiet nature and an easygoing personality. A resilient puppy mill survivor, she is still learning what it means to be a beloved pet, but she is making steady progress and enjoys being part of the daily activity around her.


Bridgett was born with a smaller right eye and is visually impaired on that side, but it does not slow her down! She navigates her surroundings comfortably and enjoys keeping up with the activity around her. Bridgett receives inexpensive daily eye drops as part of her regular routine, takes them very well, and loves being held for her care.


This independent little lady has a low-to-moderate energy level and is happy to observe the action around her. She enjoys toys&mdash;especially taking them out of the toy box&mdash;and has a charming curiosity about everyday things. Bridgett is also very food-motivated, which can be helpful as she continues to learn routines and build confidence.

Bridgett gets along well with other dogs and has no aggressive or dominant tendencies. She could do well as an only dog or with a calm canine companion. She is quiet overall, though she may bark occasionally.

Bridgett does well with her house-training when kept on a consistent schedule for outdoor potty breaks. She is accustomed to going outside on a leash and could be a good fit for an apartment or home, provided she has regular opportunities to go out. She can manage stairs going up but is still unsure about going down them, so a home with limited stairs or a patient family willing to help her feel secure would be ideal.

Bridgett recently had a dental cleaning and lost quite a few teeth, so she prefers her kibble softened with a little water or mixed with soft food. She eats well and appreciates this simple extra bit of care at mealtime.

At bedtime, Bridgett enjoys the comfort of a human bed but is also fine settling on her own. She is looking for a patient, loving home that will appreciate her gentle spirit, respect her independence, and give her the time and reassurance she needs to continue blossoming.

Meet Harlee &mdash; a tiny diva with a huge personality and enough charm to keep everyone wrapped around her little paw. If you&rsquo;ve ever wished for a best friend who wants to be involved in absolutely everything you do, Harlee is your girl. Harlee truly believes she is one of the people. Whether she&rsquo;s curled up beside you on the couch, supervising snack time in hopes of earning a tiny taste, or tagging along on an adventure with her favorite humans, she is happiest simply being included. She rides beautifully in the car and lights up anytime she realizes she gets to go somewhere with you. This happy girl also enjoys spending time with her canine friends and loves joining the pack for backyard fun and playful adventures. She would do wonderfully in a home with another friendly dog who can match her enthusiasm and help her continue building confidence. Harlee is bright, expressive, and wonderfully entertaining. She loves toys, treats, and being the center of attention. After grooming, she gets especially playful and silly, often chasing her tail and showing off her adorable personality. She also takes her &ldquo;neighborhood watch&rdquo; duties very seriously and is always ready to let you know when she hears something interesting happening around the house. While Harlee enjoys exploring safely in a fenced yard, she is also learning that walks can be fun too &mdash; especially when treats are involved. She is very food motivated and happily cooperates when rewarded with one of her favorite snacks. Harlee does best on a consistent routine and understands the word &ldquo;outside,&rdquo; quickly heading out when it&rsquo;s potty time. Like many sensitive little dogs, she can become anxious during storms or stressful situations, so having a calm environment and predictable schedule helps her feel secure. She has already discovered the comfort of having a cozy safe space to retreat to when she needs a little downtime. While Harlee does have luxating patellas, which are fairly common in small breed dogs, she handles things very well with daily supplements that help keep her comfortable and active. She appreciates gentle handling and a family committed to maintaining her routine and overall wellness so she can continue enjoying all the attention, adventures, and cuddles she loves so much. Her ideal home will adore her for the hilarious, loving, opinionated little companion she is. Harlee wants to be part of the family, included in daily life, and loved exactly as she is. In return, she will provide endless entertainment, loyal companionship, and plenty of laughs along the way.

She is current on rabies, distemper/parvo, Bordetella, and bivalent canine influenza vaccines, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Due to her ongoing orthopedic needs, Harlee requires an adopter with a strong veterinary care history committed to maintaining her medical care and comfort for years to come.

George: He&#39;s Got the Roar, the Ride, and the Right Stuff! George&#39;s adoption donation is $350 and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. He has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms and started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning.

This charming gentleman is ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life. Even though George can&#39;t hear as well as he use to, he&#39;s a quick learner and already knows &quot;sit&quot; for his treats. This well-mannered fellow is house-trained (though transitioning to a new home may require a little patience) and has excellent table manners. No fenced yard? No problem! George is happy to stroll on a leash. While George appreciates the company of men, he would be happy in any loving home. While he is friendly with people and other dogs on walks, he would thrive in a quiet home where he can relax and be the center of attention. George has a unique way of expressing himself with playful &quot;roars&rdquo; that are sure to melt your heart. He&#39;ll let you know when he&#39;s ready for breakfast, a potty break, playtime, or even just a cuddle on the bed! This smart pup knows how to ask for what he wants, like a little lift onto the bed to snuggle in for the night. George is a true sweetheart, and while he might play a little hard-to-get with kisses at first, he&#39;s learned to give them (especially if there&#39;s a treat involved!). He is a great companion to bring along for social outings such as patios, loves golf-cart rides, and is happiest riding shotgun in the car with his head out the window, taking in all the sights and smells. Meet Dove Some dogs wear their hearts on their sleeves... Dove wears hers quietly, waiting for the right person to help it shine. This beautiful 3-year-old puppy mill survivor is a gentle, sweet soul who has come a long way in foster care. Once too timid to seek affection, Dove has discovered that cuddles are pretty wonderful and now happily hops into her foster mom&#39;s lap for love and attention. Dove enjoys the simple things in life&mdash;snuggling, tasty treats, spending time in the backyard, and playing with her canine friends. She has moderate energy and would love a securely fenced yard where she can continue to build her confidence and safely explore. Because of her past, Dove is still fearful of men, strangers, and unfamiliar situations. She is looking for a female-only household with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Another friendly, confident dog is required to help show her that the world isn&#39;t such a scary place. She is still working on house training and currently uses pee pads, so her new family should be prepared to continue that journey with kindness and consistency. Meet Nora!

Nora is a sweet girl with plenty of pep in her step! She&rsquo;s known to break out the zoomies&nbsp;and loves going for walks, spending time outside, curling up in a soft bed, and&mdash;perhaps most importantly&mdash;treats and mealtime. Carrots are an extra-special favorite!

Nora is an independent little lady who also enjoys being close to her people. She&rsquo;ll happily follow you around the house and believes everyone deserves a proper greeting when they come through the door&mdash;complete with an enthusiastic tail wag. She especially enjoys ear rubs and has a wonderfully sweet personality. Nora seems particularly fond of men and would love having a special person of her own to adore.

Nora does well with other dogs, although she prefers canine companions who are fairly independent rather than looking to her as a constant playmate. She took some time to warm up to the dog in her foster home, so a patient introduction will help her feel comfortable. She could also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as someone&rsquo;s one-and-only pup.

Nora does very well with her housetraining when kept on a consistent schedule and will often wait by the back door to let you know she needs to go outside. She loves spending time in the yard, relaxing and keeping an eye on the neighborhood, so a secure physical fence will give her a safe place to enjoy her outdoor time. Nora can be a little sensitive to sudden noises and thunderstorms, and when something startles her, she appreciates having her person nearby for a little extra reassurance. A calm voice and some comforting attention go a long way, and she&rsquo;s soon ready to settle back into her routine.

Nora doesn&rsquo;t let a little stiffness in her hip slow her down! She continues to enjoy her walks, outdoor time, and those adorable bursts of zoomies. She has medication available if she needs a little extra support, but she&rsquo;s been doing so well that she hasn&rsquo;t needed it in quite some time.

Nora is ready for a loving home where she can enjoy all her favorite things&mdash;walks, soft beds, good food, ear rubs, plenty of affection, and maybe a cooked carrot or two. This sweet girl still has lots of love, personality, and happy tail wags to share with the lucky person who makes her part of their family.
