Meet Malcolm! 






Malcolm is a fun-loving, busy boy who loves&nbsp;everyone &mdash; people and dogs alike!&nbsp;He is always ready to play, chase, and entertain himself with his favorite toys. When he&rsquo;s outside, you&rsquo;ll often find him happily lounging in the grass and playing with his toys.





Malcolm does have a mischievous side! He has a particular love for&nbsp;stealing flip-flops and shoes, and if left unattended, he will happily turn them into his next destruction project. He is a very busy boy, so if Malcolm suddenly goes MIA, you&rsquo;d better investigate &mdash; chances are, he&rsquo;s found something interesting to get into! 





Despite his busy personality, Malcolm also knows how to settle in with his favorite humans. He loves cuddling up on the couch while watching TV and is generous with his kisses, especially with his foster siblings.





If you plan to crate Malcolm, he has a preference for a&nbsp;hard-sided crate rather than a wire crate.





Malcolm has shown some&nbsp;resource guarding around his favorite person. His foster family has been working with him by correcting the behavior in the moment, and he is making progress. His future family should be willing to continue working patiently and consistently with him as he learns appropriate boundaries.





Overall, Malcolm is a playful, affectionate, silly, and entertaining boy who has a lot of love to give. He&rsquo;s looking for a family who will appreciate his busy personality, keep him appropriately entertained, and continue helping him become the very best version of himself. ❤️

Meet adorable Cheddar! 





I&rsquo;m a curious and active boy&nbsp;who loves keeping an eye on what my people are up to&mdash;and I&rsquo;m always ready to play after a good massage!




Some of my favorite things to play with are dangly toys, glitter balls, and toy mice. I&rsquo;m playful, affectionate, and full of personality. I also need a companion animal in the home to help me feel comfortable and truly at home.



Cheddar maybe a little fearful at first and could take some time to warm up to you. &nbsp;But once he feels comfortable, you&#39;ll see his sweet personality shine through-and you&#39;ll&nbsp;absolutely love cuddling with him!

Don&rsquo;t let the name fool you&mdash;Sleepy is anything but! This adventurous little kitten is always on the move, always looking for his next exciting discovery, and always ready to make you laugh.









Sleepy is full of personality and isn&rsquo;t afraid to share his opinions. Whether he&rsquo;s chatting with you about his day or loudly requesting to be picked up for his next adventure, this little guy always has something to say. He&rsquo;s incredibly people-oriented and loves being part of whatever you&rsquo;re doing. In fact, if he thinks you&rsquo;re taking too long to pay attention to him, he&rsquo;ll happily let you know until you scoop him up and include him in the fun.









Curious by nature, Sleepy loves to explore. One of his favorite hobbies is figuring out how to escape his kitten enclosure, proudly setting off on tiny adventures before staying close to the people he loves. He&rsquo;s fast, clever, and always ready to investigate something new.









When he&rsquo;s not exploring, Sleepy loves to play. Toys, games, and wrestling with his siblings are some of his favorite ways to spend the day. He&rsquo;s also a big fan of wet food and never turns down a delicious meal.









Although he isn&rsquo;t usually one to sit still for long, Sleepy does enjoy being held and absolutely adores human attention. He&rsquo;s happiest in a home where his people have time to interact with him, play with him, and let him be part of the action.









Sleepy thrives with feline companionship and 

must

 have another cat in his forever home. He would especially love to be adopted with his brother, Happy&mdash;the two make an adorable pair and complement each other wonderfully. If not adopted with one of his siblings, he&rsquo;ll need a confident, friendly cat who can show him the ropes and happily keep up with his playful spirit.

Meet Little Baby Dayton! 





Dayton is the sweetest little boy ever! At just 5 months old, he&rsquo;s an old man trapped in a puppy&rsquo;s body. He loves going for walks, playing with his toys, chewing on bones and chewy sticks, and, most of all, cuddling with his favorite humans!





This little guy is a dream when it comes to bedtime &mdash; he sleeps through the night without accidents, so you can get your beauty sleep! He&rsquo;s also about as low-maintenance as a puppy can get. Dayton doesn&rsquo;t ask for much; he just wants to be loved. Once he bonds with you, he&rsquo;ll happily follow you everywhere and make sure you&rsquo;re never without a little puppy snuggle buddy. If you&rsquo;re sitting down to cuddle, expect him to be touching you at all times!





Dayton can be a little shy when meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but give him a couple of days to settle in, and his sweet personality starts to shine. ❤️ He can get overwhelmed by too much commotion, so he would love a home where he can feel safe, secure, and loved while he builds his confidence.





He&rsquo;s still learning about the big world around him, and sometimes the leash can feel a little intimidating, causing him to freeze. With patience, encouragement, and time to adjust, he&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to grow more confident at his own pace.





Dayton&rsquo;s favorite things: Bones, chewy sticks, toys, walks, and ALL the cuddles!





What Dayton needs: A little patience, a calm and loving environment, and someone who understands that shy little puppies just need time to blossom.

I&rsquo;m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue.&nbsp;Many of our puppies have a mama who was not&nbsp;properly socialized before coming to Underdog&nbsp;Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its&nbsp;Adopters.&nbsp;Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter.&nbsp;Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society.&nbsp;Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized.&nbsp;If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work!

Patita is a lovable 3-year-old Frenchie with a big personality packed into a compact little body! This sweet girl is equal parts playful and snuggly&mdash;she&rsquo;s just as happy chasing a ball or playing tug-of-war as she is curling up in your lap for some quality cuddle time.







Patita thrives on being with her people and will happily follow you from room to room, always ready for the next adventure&hellip; or nap. She absolutely loves car rides, making her the perfect co-pilot for errands or weekend outings.







She&rsquo;s a smart cookie, too! Patita already knows commands like sit, come, kennel/crate, outside, and quiet, and since she&rsquo;s very treat-motivated, she&rsquo;s eager to keep learning more.







Patita is both leash trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a home that can continue building on her great foundation.







While Patita has so many wonderful qualities, she&rsquo;s still working through a couple things. She can show some resource guarding and tends to be reactive toward larger dogs, both in person and even on TV. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog or in a home experienced with managing these behaviors. She prefers to be the star of the show! Patita does have an old eye injury that makes her eye a bit cloudy. At present, there is nothing to be done, as it has healed. Down the road, she may need meds or medical attention, but nothing as of now!







Her playful enthusiasm can sometimes lead to zoomies and excitement, so a home with older, dog-savvy kids would be the best fit.







Patita&rsquo;s ideal home is one that will embrace her fun-loving spirit&mdash;think games of fetch, tug-of-war, and lots of time spent together. In return, you&rsquo;ll get an affectionate, loyal companion who just wants to love and be loved.

Bulldogs, pugs, and Boston terriers, Brussels Griffons, Pekingese and others are a member of the Brachycephalic breed and therefore have a host of health issues that may arise.&nbsp; Because these dogs are new into our rescue, health issues in the future may arise that we are not aware of.&nbsp; Some of these issues are allergies, eye issues, yeast infections, interdigital cysts, slipped disks in their back, breathing problems, among a host of others that can occur at any time or when seasons change. While breed experience is not required, we encourage you to thoroughly research the breed and its financial, medical, and environmental needs to be sure this&nbsp;breed is a good fit for you and your family.&nbsp; It is estimated that the average brachycephalic breed owner spends $2,000 per year on medical needs. In addition to other surgeries, this dog may have had surgery on their nares and soft palate to improve the quality of their breathing.&nbsp; This will be partially reflected within her adoption fee.













These breeds are one of the most expensive dogs to own, maintain, and rescue and our adoption fees reflect such expenses.&nbsp; The application process for these breeds usually moves quite quickly as they are a popular breed, so we ask that adopters do research and be prepared for adoption at the time you submit your application.&nbsp; They are happy, goofy, playful characters and we are excited you are taking the first steps into rescuing one! &nbsp;
