


Happy Days Dog &amp; Cat Rescue requires a Spay/Neuter Contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization at the time of adoption. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. HDDCR holds a deposit [$50 for dogs, $25 for cats] in addition to the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog or cat was spayed/neutered by the date stipulated on the Spay/Neuter Contract. The deposit will be refunded to the adopter if spay/neuter was done according to the Spay/Neuter Contract signed by the adopter.

The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee, paid at the time of adoption.&nbsp; Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.&nbsp; &nbsp; Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.

Harley is one of three polydactyl brothers (along with Johnny and Tony) they have extra front toes.&nbsp; But it doesn&#39;t slow any of them down at all.&nbsp; Harley is a bit of a scaredy boy. When I first met him he was hiding in his cubby and would hiss and even swipe at me if I got too close.&nbsp; But in a bit over a week&#39;s time he got used to my smell and I was OK with Harley.&nbsp; I could reach over to pet his head and chin and watch him close his eyes in enjoyment.&nbsp; He loves to play with any toys on a string.&nbsp; Harley is really a very sweet boy and will reward anyone who takes the time to be his friend with true affection.

Harley &ndash; The Midnight Goofball Harley is an 11-month-old tuxedo boy with a touch of mystery and a whole lot of personality. At first, he can be a little shy and reserved, preferring to observe his surroundings before jumping in. But don&rsquo;t let his quiet nature fool you&mdash;once the sun goes down, Harley transforms into a whirlwind of energy! He loves to zoom, play, and show off his goofy side when he feels comfortable. His striking tuxedo coat makes him look dapper, but his silly antics keep things lighthearted. Harley also comes with a special feature: extra toes, making him a lucky little polydactyl kitty. With patience and love, Harley will blossom into the perfect mix of companion and entertainer for the right family.

UPDATE:&nbsp;
Maureen has CH (wobbly cat syndrome) and reduced vision so she does not run around like a crazy kitten.&nbsp; &nbsp;While she does seem somewhat subdued for a kitten, she does enjoy play and will grab toys and string if they are close to her.&nbsp; She is such a sweet girl who will sit in your lap and purr at least until she gets distracted and wants to explore.&nbsp; When you look at her face, you don&#39;t see typical cat eyes. When you see her walk it is not like other cats.&nbsp; But if you let this beautiful creature of God into your life (along with her brother) you will be rewarded with joy and their love.


&nbsp;

Muncy and Maureen are a closely-bonded, loving duo of silky black kittens.&nbsp; They are both mild cerebellar hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome) and both have vision impairment.&nbsp; Neither of these conditions cause them pain and they have no ongoing medical management needs - they just need a home that will love their unique abilities!

Both Muncy and Maureen have bright and sunny personalities, and their energetic antics will have you giggling!&nbsp; Both kittens have resounding purrs and love to cuddle (both each other and their humans), they play animatedly with goofy jumps and twists, and you&#39;ll often find them making biscuits on their favorite fuzzy blankets.

Maureen is affectionately nicknamed &quot;Mo&quot; and is starting to catch up on growth.&nbsp; Maureen&#39;s CH and vision are more challenging than her brother&#39;s and she often seeks him out for support.&nbsp; She will even meow to call him until he responds!&nbsp; Maureen is known for chasing her tail and loves to hunt shadows.&nbsp;

Maureen is acquainted with dogs and is very interested to make friends.&nbsp; She got along well with&nbsp;all of her caretaker&#39;s dogs, however often ended up walked on, as she doesn&#39;t excel at avoiding obstacles.&nbsp; Maureen will need canine companions to be attentive to her location and to avoid stepping on her - with her vision impairment, there is no way for her to escape to protect herself.&nbsp; Maureen gets along well with&nbsp;other cats, though is initially aloof.
