Mequite is an outgoing, very friendly male puppy. His past is unknown as he was found wandering with his siblings. He has done well meeting adults, and a variety of farm animals. He has really started to gain confidence in himself and people in the past few weeks, and has learned to calmly walk into the house. He has learned not use his outside energy indoors and loves to explore the house. He has a lot of excitable puppy energy and loves to zoom around the pasture early in the morning, but is able to settle very quickly for pets or treats. When he has run of the property he is likely to stay with you or come back and check in with you frequently. He also likes toys and likes to play tug. He will go and get the ball if it is thrown for him but hasn't quiet mastered bringing it back. He likes to find sticks to carry or things that look like sticks. For example, when I wasn't looking he sneakily trimmed several branches off of my small Rose of Sharon bush to carry around. He plays well with his siblings and the resident adult alpha female dog. He likes to wrestle and run with them. He will jump on you and grab your hands for attention but he is learning that if he stays off of you he might get a treat! All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription. If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic. ***********************************************************************We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. #MadLoveShakaLocated in ColoradoLet’s just start with the obvious… this boy is ridiculously handsome. That long, flowing coat. That strong, sculpted face. Those deep, intelligent eyes that study you before deciding you’re worth his heart.Shaka turns heads everywhere he goes. People stop. They compliment. And he calmly sits at your feet like he knows exactly how good-looking he is.And here’s a bonus… that beautiful coat? It’s long and luxurious with a thinner undercoat, so he barely sheds, especially compared to a Dutch Shepherd. You get the stunning look without the constant fur tumbleweeds. But he’s more than a pretty face.He has an excellent off switch and will happily sleep for hours after a good walk. He’s fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and both genders, no barking, no reactivity. In public, he’s respectful and composed. He’s smart, food motivated, and his recall continues to improve beautifully. He’s thoughtful. Intentional. Loyal. Now, let’s be honest about what he needs.Shaka is still young at heart and can occasionally act like a teenager testing boundaries. He’s smart enough to try “games” if he senses inconsistency, so he truly needs clear leadership and someone who won’t engage in that back-and-forth. Structure builds his confidence. He can also still be a bit mouthy when excited, so a home without young children would be best.Shaka would thrive with an experienced, active handler who appreciates a working-breed brain and understands that consistency equals success. He may take a minute to warm up, but once he chooses you, he’s deeply devoted.Located in Colorado and ready for the right match. If you’re looking for a striking, steady, intelligent companion who wants a job, a person, and a purpose, Shaka is your boy.All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month subscription. If you are interested in adopting this pet please complete an application at this link https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic. ***********************************************************************We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Meet Sweet Potato, a 3–4-year-old, 55-lb pocket rocket located in Southwest Florida!Sweet Potato is an absolute snuggle bug who has never met a stranger. She loves everyone she meets and is always ready to hand out kisses, request belly rubs, or climb directly into your lap. She has moderate energy—happy to run and play, then settle in right beside (or on top of) her person. She is crate and potty trained, rides well in the car, and can be left unattended without being destructive.Sweet Potato currently lives with five other dogs and has made tremendous progress with resource guarding that she displayed when she first arrived as a stray. She is now able to coexist with the pack and their many toys, although she is still fed separately and occasionally needs a reminder that sharing is caring. No other pets? Fantastic! Sweet Potato would happily soak up all your attention. Have larger dogs? She can coexist with canine siblings, although she may select one lucky pup to cling to like a pesky gnat. Her play style can include grabbing legs and ears and relentlessly asking another dog to play, so a tolerant companion would be best. Her prey drive is currently unknown. She has not been tested with cats or small animals, although she does enjoy chasing the occasional butterfly.Sweet Potato is affectionate, goofy, people-oriented, and ready for a family to call her own. If you're looking for a compact best friend who takes snuggling very seriously, Sweet Potato may be your girl!
