Animal Information: Molly Moo Cow was a last minute addition to our transport with Taillights Rescue Project. Molly won our hearts with her soft eyes, happy tail, and squishy body. She was confiscated from a property that had several other dogs, but she was hidden away in a back room. Molly passed her dog to dog testing with flying colors, and she loves everyone she meets. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 60lbs.

Foster Profile:
Molly is a lovable goofball who hasn’t met a stranger - human or dog - that she doesn’t like! What she lacks in grace, she makes up for in enthusiasm. She’s quick to ask for pets and doesn’t quite understand that she’s not a 9lb lap dog. In other words, she’s a huge cuddler and wants to be close to her people.

Molly LOVES toys and has loved learning tug. We’re currently working on an ’out’ command as we believe this will be helpful for Molly to learn in play. Molly is young and still learning that all found objects are not chew toys, so it’s best not to leave things out on the floor for now. Molly is a quick learner and has picked up on our routine without any issues. She’s crate trained, potty trained and we’re working on leash manners every day on our walks. She likes to follow us around in the house and romp around in the yard but will also happily lay down in one of the dog beds for a nap or to chew on a toy.

Molly has been great with our resident dogs. She would love to play with them if they would oblige but gets the hint when they’re not into it and gives them space. Though we believe Molly would love to have another playful dog in her future home, we also think she would do ok as an only dog.

Animal Information:

Mabel is an estimated 2-year-old, 60-pound female Malinois mix who wound up at the shelter as a stray. She had recently had puppies, and the responding officer believed she had been dumped in the area.

When Mabel first arrived, she was very nervous and reserved in her kennel. With a little patience and encouragement from shelter staff, she slowly came out of her shell, and it didn’t take long for everyone to discover that she was actually a total lap dog!

Mabel also did well in playgroups. She started off shy and unsure, but with a little time, she warmed up and began enjoying herself with the other dogs.

When Mabel’s time at the shelter was up, we simply couldn’t say no to giving this sweet girl a chance at the good life here in the PNW. We’re so excited to see her chapter change from survival to the happy, loving life she deserves.

Lila is a 1-year-old Lab/Labradoodle mix who came to us as an emergency intake. Her owner was fleeing a domestic violence situation and sadly could not bring Lila with them. Lila has been very loved and well cared for her whole life, and we promised her family that we would find her a wonderful home.

Lila is a happy, social girl who loves everyone she meets. She went to doggy daycare regularly and does great with both small and large dogs. She also lived with two children under 7 and absolutely loved them.

She is crate trained, house trained, loves car rides, and knows basic obedience. She does need some work on her leash manners because she likes to pull, but she is young and eager to learn. She is also learning not to jump, but approaches everything in life with 12 out of 10 enthusiasm.

Lila has the softest ears, the sweetest face, and such a loving personality. She is a really special girl who deserves a family of her own. We know the right home is out there for her, and we can't wait to see her find it.

Foster Profile: This happy hurricane is doing great in foster care with a trainer. Lila is looking for an active home interested in continuing her training so she can be the best version of herself. She loves adventures, car rides, and playing with her furry friends. Lila is no couch potato, and needs to have her body and brain exercised every day. She is house trained, crate trained, walks well on leash with a training collar, and has good basic obedience skills.

Animal Information: Black Betty, Atlas, Morrigan,, Vesper and Raven are Dobermans with natural ears and tails. They were born in foster care in Modesto, and the shelter staff wanted to avoid putting them into a kennel environment, so they reached out to see if we could help. How could we say no? These puppies are healthy, social, and will be large breed dogs that would do best in homes with working breed experience, in single family residences with fenced yards. We will not be considering apartment homes at this time.

Foster Profile: Meet Betty! A spunky and affectionate 5.5 month old Doberman puppy just begging for you to take her home. She spends most of her days hanging out with animals of many varieties. Her playmates being dogs, chickens and goats. She also loves her clothing. If the weather is under 65 she’ll practically beg for a coat! If shes not too busy playing with her friends she’s probably enjoying a nice walk. Betty loves to go out into public and make friends with anyone who’ll let her. We are only considering homes with working breed experience, single family residences with fenced yards, and another canine companion. We will not be considering apartment homes at this time.

Her absolute favorite joy in life is Ball! She enjoys playing with other dogs but requires a human who can supervise and advocate for appropriate interactions or she is prone to bullying behavior. She is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs and is crate-trained, house-trained, and has basic obedience training. She will benefit from structure, leadership, and ongoing training. Medical Notes: Penny has had one TPLO repaired in Spring 2025 and fully recovered, before tearing her other CCL in Fall 2025. We will do another TPLO for her with adoption interest.

Animal History:
Penny and her siblings were a surprise litter - their mother was adopted from a local family when she was unknowingly pregnant, so he got much more than he bargained for when she had puppies soon after her adoption. Penny was born on 12/09/22; one of the littermates was

DNA tested and so presumably all littermates are

75% English Bulldog, 12.5% German Shepherd, 12.5% Rhodesian Ridgeback. As puppies, these dogs were playful and engaging. Penny was adopted as a puppy to a family who was not prepared for the tendencies of this breed combination. Without any formal training, she developed territorial behaviors in the home and on walks that ultimately led the family to return her to the rescue. She has since been evaluated and fostered in a DGS foster home. She is currently available for adoption to the greater Seattle area.
