Meet Princess!

If you&rsquo;re looking for a 10 year old tiny best friend with a BIG personality, Princess is your girl! This sweet little lady wants nothing more than to be by your side as much as possible. Her favorite place in the world? 
Your lap.
She is an absolute cuddle bug and will happily curl up with you for hours.

Don&rsquo;t let her tiny 5 lb size fool you&mdash;Princess has a little feisty side, too! When she&rsquo;s feeling playful, she loves a good game of 
wrestle
. She also takes her neighborhood patrol duties very seriously. Princess is surprisingly wonderful on a leash and loves her daily stroll around the block (about half a mile). She&rsquo;ll happily let everyone&mdash;dogs and people alike&mdash;know that she owns the block&hellip; or at least likes to think she does!

Princess does very well with pottying outside, although she isn&rsquo;t always the best at letting you know when she needs to go. The good news? She is 
pee-pad trained
and will use one when it&rsquo;s available.

She has a healthy appetite but considers herself a bit of a food connoisseur. She has a picky palate and believes that, as a distinguished adult lady, she deserves the finer things in life. Because she can be territorial around her food, she&rsquo;ll need supervision around little kids during mealtimes. She absolutely loves 
older kids
and is happiest when she gets to be part of whatever her people are doing.

And when the day is done, Princess has one very important nonnegotiable: 
she sleeps in bed with you.
❤️ She is the sweetest cuddle buddy, settles down quietly, and makes the perfect little sleeping companion.

Princess also takes a heart medication pill twice a day. She isn&rsquo;t exactly a fan of this particular part of her routine, but she lets her people give it to her without too much fuss.

At just a year and a half old, this 30-pound sweetheart has already overcome more than any dog should. Godiva was found taped inside a box, severely emaciated and suffering from painful skin issues. Despite everything she&rsquo;s been through, she has never stopped loving people. Thanks to lots of care, good food and even more love, she&rsquo;s gained the weight she needed, her skin has healed and her beautiful coat is growing back.



Today, Godiva is exactly what everyone hopes for in a companion. She&rsquo;s a total love bug who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you&rsquo;re relaxing on the couch, heading out for a walk or spending time with family, she&rsquo;s happy as long as she&rsquo;s with her people.

 This handsome 5 year young, 80 lb boy is as sweet as they come and just wants the simple things in life: a comfy place to lay his head, some good food, and a human to love. Bump is friendly, affectionate, and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages. He&rsquo;s also great with both men and women and does well with kids. Basically, Bump is ready to be your best friend and fit right into your family. He doesn&rsquo;t ask for much, just a safe, loving home where he can relax, feel loved, and give that love right back.

Jack is a 6-year-old pittie with a comeback story that deserves a standing ovation. A few months ago, this sweet boy was literally tossed from a car and left behind&mdash;but Jack had other plans. With a whole lot of TLC, patience, and his own resilient spirit, he&rsquo;s patched himself back together and is now ready for the life he should&rsquo;ve had all along. Unfortunately he is blind due to an untreated ulcer but it doesn&#39;t stop him!&nbsp;

And let me tell you&hellip; he is SO ready.

This beautiful 3-year-old labby girl (about 50&ndash;60 lbs) is as gentle as her name suggests&mdash;but she&rsquo;s also a delicate soul who needs a little extra time and understanding to truly shine.

Sunflower came to us after bravely showing up, scared and unsure, on a kind person&rsquo;s property with her puppies. Since then, she&rsquo;s been learning that the world isn&rsquo;t such a scary place&mdash;but she&rsquo;s still very shy and takes time to build trust. Once she starts to feel safe, you&rsquo;ll see her soft, sweet nature begin to bloom.

She&rsquo;s wonderfully dog-friendly and finds a lot of comfort in having canine companions around. Because of her timid personality, she&rsquo;d do best with older, respectful kids who understand that she needs patience and space. Sunflower is still working on her leash confidence, so a securely fenced yard is a must for her right now&mdash;this is where she feels safest and happiest.
