Meet Nova

Nova is a beautiful 4-year-old girl who is as loving and loyal as they come! She adores people of all ages and has plenty of energy to share. Nova is happiest when she has room to run and play, making her a great fit for a home with a yard or plenty of outdoor space.

What she loves:

Hugs, kisses, and lots of affection

Truck or SUV rides (she’s the best road trip buddy!)

Playtime and open spaces

Visits to off-leash parks where she can stretch her legs

⚡ Her personality:
She’s strong, full of life, and very smart. Leash manners are a work in progress—she can be impatient and pull, so she’ll need an adopter ready to continue her training. She does well with male dogs but can sometimes be picky with females.

Things to know:

Indoor/outdoor lifestyle

Can be sensitive to loud noises and sometimes shuts down when anxious

Prefers not to walk at night or in the dark

Currently about 7 lbs overweight (vet says she’s otherwise fit and strong!)

Best suited for a home without lots of stairs, since apartment living hasn’t been ideal for her

Nova is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines (including rabies and parvo), and comes with her most recent vet paperwork.

This sweet, beautiful girl is ready for her perfect match—a loving family with space for her to run, patience for her quirks, and plenty of hugs and kisses to give. ❤️

THIS IS A COURTESY POST! PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE SHELTER TO MEET HIM. HE IS NOT AT THE SHELTER

MEET Apollo also responds to Paul. How cuuute.

Apollo is a good young boy.

His only fault is his energy... his family sort of ended up with him. They feel bad. But they have realized he deserves more than they can give. He is destructive in home when not properly excercised, and hes a jumper, they have a kid and hes too much with the kid. They have tried to work with him, but have realized that they are not the right fit. All of this is fixable and trainable with the right person or family. Hes just young and needs consistency and training

Here's what they answered to my questions:

"Apollo nickname Paul (he responds to both)

Kind of Leash Trained (we dont walk him as much as he needs)

Crate Trained

No allergies that we know of

Hes ok in the car, sometimes throws up

He is ok alone in a crate if nothing is around him but he did eat the rug/plastic at the bottom of the crate

Recall only when said a couple times but not in a open space maybe like a backyard

No idea about cats or dogs ( except his sibling dog he is fine with)

We got him from one of my husband friends, he is half lab half heeler

And no rehoming fee we just want him to go to a really good home."

He is 1.5 yrs old. Black Lab/ Heeler. Neutered. And UTD on shots.
