
Sadie is a sweet, playful girl who is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue to blossom.

She loves attention and thinks sitting on your lap is the best place to be! She enjoys playing with toys, especially fetch and a good game of tug-of-war. She also loves bath time, which is always a bonus!

Sadie has no food aggression and is a smart girl who already knows how to sit, stay, and give paw.&nbsp;



She would do best in a home without small children, and she is not a fan of cats, so a cat-free home is recommended.

Once Sadie trusts you, she has plenty of love, playfulness, and personality to give. She&rsquo;s looking for someone who will be patient with her, respect her boundaries, and help her continue learning.

Meet Dan! He spent two weeks in foster care before he got to travel to New England. This 5 yr rottie boy is a sweet man who is ready for his home&nbsp;


Dan Dan is a very majestic dog.&nbsp; He&#39;s sweet, affectionate, and loyal.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He will attach to his family quickly and be protective.&nbsp;&nbsp;

He is a very good house guest, both house-trained and crate-trained, with zero accidents for the 11 days I had him.&nbsp; I was able to leave him out of his crate during the day and overnight with no problems at all.&nbsp;&nbsp;



&nbsp;

He has a cute, playful side and likes playing with a giant rope and a Kong filled with peanut butter.&nbsp; He also loves to have his head massaged and his body brushed.&nbsp; He will make soft sounds at times while getting attention.&nbsp; Dan Dan is also very treat motivated.&nbsp; I used treats to get him to go into his crate with no problems.&nbsp;

Dan is dog social and has not been tested with cats.&nbsp;



Meet Eva &ndash; Your Future Best Friend!

Eva is a delightful older girl&mdash;think wise beyond her years, around 9 or 10&mdash;who&rsquo;s got the personality of a cool cat (minus the feline fandom). She struts her stuff on two daily walks and is a true benebone connoisseur, switching up flavors like a pup foodie. A perfect blend of couch potato and occasional burst of energy, Eva will soak up the sun in nice weather but gives the cold a big &ldquo;nope.&rdquo; She&rsquo;s not one for rambunctious dog parks or canine daycare drama&mdash;she&rsquo;d rather hang with hospice pups and keep things mellow. Snuggles are welcome, but she&rsquo;ll also stake out her own space when she needs a little &ldquo;me time.&rdquo; Eva is crate trained, housebroken, and insists on her crate when home alone to keep her separation anxiety in check (otherwise, she might re-decorate your living room with her creative skills!).

Eva would absolutely thrive in a calm, predictable home where her daily routine reigns supreme. She loves a patient owner who gets her quirky need for both cuddles and independence&mdash;and rewards her gentle spirit with treats and plenty of positive vibes. A household with older kids or grown-ups who respect her bubble is ideal, as Eva prefers her kingdom peaceful and steady, not a whirlwind of activity. Give her a cozy couch, some tasty benebones, and a little sun, and Eva will be your loyal, loving companion.

This beautiful girl was rescued alongside her brother from a rural shelter where both were scheduled to be euthanized the next morning. Despite her rough start, she has shown nothing but resilience, intelligence, and heart.

She is the more confident sibling&mdash;a natural leader with a steady, grounded presence. Her early influence helped her brother learn respectful dog manners, and she continues to carry herself with a calm, self-assured energy.

&bull; Crate trained and doing wonderfully with structure
&bull; Smart, observant, and eager to learn
&bull; Affectionate with her people and bonds deeply
&bull; Confident outdoors and enjoys exploring


She loves being part of the action, thrives with routine, and has a perfect balance of independence and affection. Whether she&rsquo;s trotting around the yard or relaxing inside, she carries herself with quiet confidence and a sweet, loyal heart.

AMITYVILLE ROCCO - COURTESY POST - We were asked to help a shelter on Long Island and we are JUST TOO FULL to take on another dog.



Rocco is a 3 yr rottie who is not doing well in the shelter. The environment there is stressful, and he shows poorly. He is dog social, not tested with cats/young children. The volunteers/staff say he&#39;s a wonderful dog who is just failing in the chaotic environment. If you&#39;re looking for a dog and can get to New York, please take the time to meet Rocco. You won&#39;t be sorry.
